I'd argue with you, but only because Mickey Redmond is the best, all-time! 😂 "and Johnny Gaudreau had all kinds of time to have a cup of coffee around the side of the net on that one" Ken Daniels is a very close 2nd 😊

Absolutely. Ken is on his game consistently. He sharply notices all the fine points, while being fun and playful. And his OT and comeback buildup and goal calls are magnificent

Nice huge win for the Wings tonight!!! Patrick Kane is a great signing!! The team needs to start on-time and let's buckle down on the defense a bit more and help our goaltenders out. Our future is looking bright

@@LightningNLightning323he will be around another year or two. He didn’t fight through all that rehab to come back and have a year like he’s having to make it a one off. If he wasn’t producing I’d agree. But he will be back for another year or two in my opinion.

I was at this game!! I was foam puck hat guy on the jumbotron from the first period lol. Everybody was on their way out as the LCA crew were passing out t-shirts during the final commercial break, and half the crowd had their backs turned when the wings tied the game! It was a slow start once again, unfortunately, but they turned it up in the second and the third. I also feel like they overcame some interesting referee decisions throughout, but Raymond leads this team through adversity and Showtime puts on a classic snipe for the W!!! LGRW!!

Nope. Let's see two or more solid wins before we say that. This should have been an easy win, and at least two of those goals against the Wings were sloppy giveaways or lead feeds to a guy who was wide open.

@@vmi4172there signed all for a reason,you don’t know any better than yzerman does to build a team and some of these players aren’t gonna stay for long ,I don’t expect petry back next season bring up room for edvisson ,and I expect sprong getting extension but if not maybe a good chance for Marco kasper,I highly expect Kane getting extension as well for at least another year or two. There will be more changes this offseason

Big win indeed but man these guys are always starting out slow always trailing in shots every time. Hope this boosts the morale up and they come back strong but they need too work on that defense and play like they wanna win like they did on that 6 game winning streak that was a totally different team.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic, but Raymond had more points in his rookie season than Mantha has had ever. He's 2 points away from matching Tatar's career best point total. Raymond is only 21. If he can keep up his growth he absolutely a cornerstone of the Wing team moving forward. He does need work on the defensive side of the puck. He hasn't exactly been on stellar teams so far in his time in the NHL.

@@brandons9138​​⁠It was sarcasm, yes. Despite his talent, he’s not getting any bigger. It’s not going to lend itself to him assembling a complete defensive retinue. Given the kind of officiating the league has tolerated during recent playoffs, he’s likely going to flounder should this franchise ever make the playoffs before he retires. He’s incredible and the only spot of sunshine on an abysmally constructed roster.

@@workshoptelescope Are you watching the same team as the rest of us? Yes they've had two terrible stretches this year, but for the most part they are VASTLY improved team even over last years roster. In the NHL today being a massive player is not what it used to be. Conner McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and Nikita Kucherov aren't much larger than Raymond. No I'm not say that Raymond has that skill level, but rather size is not what it use to be in the NHL.

I’ve watched this team ride a goofy high shooting percentage all season, while getting physically outmatched and outworked by the best in the league. I acknowledged Raymond is a great offensive talent. My suspicion is it will not translate to deep playoff hockey, where the refs swallow their whistles and permit outright assault.

I hate the fact that Kane isn't a Blackhawk anymore. I nodded off from the NHL after the '90s but I started watching again after I saw him play. I'm not North American so don't judge me, haha.

@LightningNLightning323 NHL groups hooking with other "Restraining fouls" such as holding, interference and tripping. It's a foul. That's what they call it in the rulebook. The subsequent penalty afterwards is what the time in the box is.

Даже в этой игре куча ошибок и в своей зоне, и в чужой, просто чудо, что вытащили игру. И ведь команда в основном состоит из опытных и достаточно мастеровитых игроков. Нет, с такой хаотичной игрой "крыльям" в плей-офф делать нечего! Айзерман наверняка уже готовится основательно перетряхнуть состав летом. Всё-таки, контендеры всегда строятся через драфт, вот и Айзерману надо выменивать пользующихся спросом на рынке игроков (как он это с Гронеком, Мантой провернул) на драфт-пики, и на них уже набирать талантливую молодежь на драфтах. А то айзерман в прошлом межсезонье сделал ставку на опытных игроков с рынка, веря что они своим опытом и классом позволят Детройту ускорить процесс перестройки и уже в этом сезоне попасть в плей-офф. Но сейчас, на самом важном отрезке борьбы за плей-офф, мы видим, что команда оказалась разобранной и бездарно сливает весь сезон. Судя по скупой информации изнутри (драка Реймонда на тренировке с Шиаро) и отдельным интервью игроков и Лалонда можно сделать вывод, что в последние недели в команде происходят внутренние конфликты, химия пропала. Тот же Шиаро и в прежних командах бузил и конфликтовал, и при таком количестве опытных игроков, которые давят своим авторитетом, молодежи как раз трудно себя показывать и заявить о себе. Почему не поднимали в первую команду Эдвинсона, Каспера, Дэниэлсона, парней взятых под высокими пиками в первом раунде? Надо их наигрывать, давать им возможность понюхать пороха НХЛ. Ошибочную промежуточную стратегию выбрал Айзерман. Посмотрим, что он будет предпринимать в межсезонье.

Lalonde was traded to the Panthers for Paul Maurice for the duration of that first period intermission. What Maurice did in the locker room will stay in the locker room; along with the cremated bodies he left there. Of course, the rest is a foregone conclusion.

I don't know what kind of funk the Red Wings are going through but they look terrible on the ice. Teams aren't afraid of them, they get knocked around, and you don't have to play hard to beat them or at least stay in the game. Columbus was out there playing like it was a day off. Disgusting.

@@kell 5-20 это стата бросков в первом периоде, который Детройт заслуженно проиграл. Вот только ты, наверное не знаешь, но периодов в игре три, Крылышки во втором и третьем периоде Мундиров перебросали и отыгрались, перевели игру в ОТ и там не дали даже возможности Коламбусу бросить.
