Bruins looked great today! Playing like this with top two Defensemen out, they had Carolina completely frustrated. I hope this carries over to the road. Swayman playing his butt off!

The reason the second goal for the Bruins was not goaltender interference is because Pesce (a Hurricane defender) pushes Raanta’s pads. Go to 4:40 and watch 22’s stick.

Pesce’s stick is in the pad of Raanta but there isn’t any push, it’s then Debrusk with his stick that pushes Tanya’s leg/pad and knocks him out of position. That’s goalie interference from Debrusk

@@Wayne_Glensky69 But it wasn't definitive. There wasn't enough of Jake's stick pushing the pads. In fact, I think it was Pesce (correct me if I spelt it wrong) that shoved Rannta in the first place. It's also very hard to see Debrusk's stick in that pile. It's not definitive.

re: Carolina success story I keep hearing about. Brind'Amour is NOT the guy to praise. He merely remained coach and did a reasonably okay job to keep that job long enough for the front office to build a competitive team (using their own twisted logic). If coach has any redeeming value in this, it's his ability to put lines together on the fly. The rest happened in spite of Rod's faults. Something coming through loud & clear in his players are similarities to Rod's old habits of starting things he couldn't finish. Coach didn't get that nose winning his instigated fights!
