If this is was an NHL 2K game, they would've made the presentation like it was at that time. They do it for NBA 2K but I also remember them doing this in ESPN NHL Hockey in the early 2000's. If there was a moment from the 1950's, EA would have the presentation as if it was happening today, LOL. They don't think about stuff like this, that's why they're a joke. They don't want to go that extra mile to give us an amazingly authentic product.

HUT is so stupid and such a waste of EA resources. So many things should be taken care of before these silly gimmicks are introduced.

I’m still so annoyed that EA still hasn’t changed the end-of-game presentation with the players celebrating with the goalie. As well as every other goddamn animation that’s been the same since NHL 09!! They have a MoCap centre for a reason! NHL 25 should only be for the current gen consoles and they NEED to completely re-mocap every single animation.

I wish you could play an entire career as the 80’s oilers and not just these moments

Hey Sleeves, might sound like a dumb question but can you confirm if Maurice Richard finally has a face scan in the game? He's been in the game for 2 years now and is one of the most iconic face in the league so it sucks to see Preset face 37 as he doesn't even wear a helmet.

This is amazing, I have played this at least 30 times and the leafs just go Hanson Brothers on the kings. Everyone is trying to get back up on there skates and my goalie sees pucks coming from every direction. This looked so easy that I shed a small tear lol.

This is radically different and you/we have been asking for change for so long. Thought we'd see some more enthusiasm out of this video

maybe i missed it, but how do you get the icon players to trade in? what do you actually earn by completing the moments, the ‘icon collectible? how is that used?

No old school presentation , arena anything. It just lacks any real detail for a mode like this. The whole point of it is to relive history. And this just doesn’t do it

I would have completely shit myself if they put in an old school presentation for these moments but no chance in hell I thought they'd ever do it. I would have never even expected that here. No way. I can't even believe they added the still real life images with voice overs on the moment explaining the details before the challenge. I would have assumed it would have been just text based on the screen and then you load the challenge. My expectations are not high lol

You need to get teh new Dualsense Edge controller and map the Hustle and Toe drag to the back paddle buttons, I do the same on the Xbox Elite Controller ( 4 paddles on the XB Elite though). Thanks for the videos!

How are the goalies so far? And I mean these bugs that were in nhl 23 like if you shoot near the post the goalie would like move away from the post with his legs together in an animation like he was at the post when he wasn't... Is that still something you see in nhl 24 or have they fixed stuff like that?

These are definitely arcade settings. Are these moments going to be altered before release? If they are its probably gonna be way harder to do these lol

As someone who always plays either locked position or BAP, it is interesting seeing these online gamers somewhat struggle with it. Kinda' how I feel when I on occasion play where I control everyone.

But keep your rose color tinted glasses on and think that Leafs didn't get away with anything that series. Came down to game 7 in Toronto and 99 owned them.

Gretz would never have been so dishonourable as to try a Michigan.

Since the challenges are gone, hopefully there's enough of these moments to where I don't finish them all in a day. I can also see them making some of these stupid hard so I won't be able to finish them. Make it right EA!

OK n00b question: what's a "power-up icon"? Is it an actual "power up" in that it powers-up an existing card? Or is that just a fancy name for a different type of card? What makes it special? Thanks !

There's base icons which are stuck at a set overall rating. The power up icons are icon cards that you increase their stats using a seperate power up card. Usually the limit cap increases throughout the year.

Is it me or the 10 hour trial EA play happens at the same time as the 3 days early access you get from the pre-order? So EA play becomes pretty much useless if that's the case.

Yes. Brutal. It used to be EA Access got you a 10 hour trial a few days before early release but now they come out at the same time making EA Access useless for those who have the xfactor edition preordered.

I've yet to see someone cycle the puck.

Can we put the difficulty on rookie to get it done like we've done on HUT rush?

High stick Gilmour in overtime of game 6 without the referee noticing. Those leafs jerseys are not the ones the leafs wore in real life. Andreychuk wore number 14 with the leafs.

Are there any new legends is 24? Also are gretzky etc usable in offline franchise mode still?

I love hockey so I will buy it . However looks like far low side scoring is back again and will frustrate all as always .

You kept mentioning Unstoppable Force not being helpful....that seemed like the case for all xFactors for me in NHL 24 during the beta...they didn't matter at all

Compare this to the MyEras of 2k. EA just has no clue, no budget and no love.

AE does a poor job with Bernie Parent presentation. Bernie was a stand up style goalie, no butterfly or flopping. Also, the mask is way off. In this game he's wearing a Mike Liut style, not the real Parent style mask that was popular in the day. Gretz jersey tuck is solid, despite lack of Daoust skates.

Not a fan of spotlight celebrations.
