NHL 24 is an upcoming ice hockey simulation video game developed by EA Vancouver and published by EA Sports. It is the 33rd installment in the NHL video game series and is scheduled to be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on October 6, 2023.
NHL 24 has much of its gameplay overhauled from NHL 23, including new total control skill moves, a new exhaust engine, goalie fatigue, passing system, and physics based contact. The new total control skill moves lets the player perform complex deke moves with the tap of a single button. The new passing system lets you pass the puck to other players using the four face buttons on the controller. And the new body checking system works identically to Bruise Control from NHL 2004, which lets you charge your body check and timing it well will result in more successful and harder body checks. Body checking players into benches and broken glass also return to NHL 24.
NHL 24 will also feature full crossplay for Hockey Ultimate Team and World Of Chel, unlike NHL 23 that only featured crossplay matchmaking.

NHL 24 on PS5 feels like NHL 15 PS4 due to how similar those gameplays are. Even that, NHL 15 PS3 still ironically, played better than NHL 24.
Fans didn’t even stand when the home team scored lol

The graphics on these games are incredible it looks so real .
Oh man. I got this on sale without looking it up cause it was like 20 bucks, but shit looks the same as it did when I use to play in high school 🤣, and I graduated 07. I’m disappointed, but hopefully tomorrow when I get my hands on it, It looks and feels better in person, whatever I’m watching here is not what I expected.
I can’t figure out why no other company trying to develop a hockey game. EA no longer even make an effort to enchance the quality. EA need some competition… cuz as in right now, EA deceives the world every year. I still love nhl, but i really did expect more ever since the new gen releases.

It’s the same game as last year only now there’s a giant clock in the middle of the zone and the color commentator is terrible….those up close celebrations look like something the power rangers would do before a battle….two girls and one guy now for announcers. What actual broadcast in the entire league has that? Two women who just say obvious things….” He made that move and got in the clear and it’s all about accuracy after that” no fooling? Really? “He’s gonna be the foundation tonight” you spend so much time trying to find scoring chances and when you do ya gotta find the back of the net” wow! How interesting!

I switched to a high-mid tier PC,and seeing this is almost like the difference from ps2 to xbox 360, thats the jump in quality from this to my PC. Not saying it to brag, im just amazed at the quality diff. I thought Xbox and PS5 was IT lol for so long.

Haven’t seen this game on there but have seen others and I can’t even really tell a difference lol. Definitely not enough to purchase thousands of dollars on a pc

@@jmoriarty8000 actually you can build one cheap now days, the hard part is having left over funds to build one even at these crazy prices. I just upgraded now, but my previous Pc lasted me 10yrs, if you build a decent rig, should last you a good bit of time. I agree I don’t see much difference, but I haven’t seen it in person. A game like this shouldn’t be any different on Pc, it’s not heavy load compared to games like ark ascended or cyberpunk

I just picked up NHL 22, love the graphics, the presentation kind of sucks, crappy replays but it plays nice, I like the defense. Havent played a hockey game since ps3 NHL 11. Is there a better modern NHL game on the PS4? I heard NHL 19 maybe is the best or at least the least bad modern NHL game.

@@Saint300Sparta I prefer the presentation in NHL 19. It was the last one to have the NBC presentation. I prefer the gameplay in NHL 22 though.

@@dr.loomis4221 yeah gameplay is smooth and I Love the defense. But the lack of Replays, and the same Faceoffs every time just make that kind of a bore. Visuals are top notch. I may buy 19 for a few bucks to try it out.

@@Saint300Sparta i have 20 and loaded it today for the first time in 2 years. Surprised as hell that it still feels good for the most part. 18 was decent, but 20 is definitely a lot better. Didnt have 19 and i also played the trial for 21 and i hated it. But i may try 22 here soon. It seems out of the next gen games (21-24) 22 is the average answer for the best installation. But there are definitely flaws from what ive heard and many things are copy pasted from 21 with no changes. We need a new company making NHL games to compete with EA, its so lackluster since nhl14

So I look and watch the games and understand... 2004 for PC respect...
NHL 2k10 is better
this series peaked with nhl 14 and it's been trash ever since. thumbs up to help your channel but the game is pure garbage. stop buying EA's recycled crap and it may incentivize the NHL to not give EA sports the nhl licensing once their current contract is up. i MISS having competition in sports video games -- remember when ea, 2k, and even 989 sports were all going at it? best games ever came out then.
This game has made tons of improvements. This is not fifa or madden.
