​@@Matt-wf7ry There is a limit to exactly replicating hockey in a video game. I still believe that EA has really managed to make the game as realistic as possible. If you're still not satisfied, I'd tell you to put down your controller and get outside to play some real hockey. ..

False advertising to sell presentation as a major feature, when full presentation is taken out of the game. How can you say you improved so much for presentation, and there’s actually nothing of substance, forcing players to only have condensed presentation.

Blatant false advertising yet EA won’t have consequences for their actions.

Add full broadcast back instead of just condensed you crooks!

Something I really liked about NHL 10 was the pre game presentation and the post game presentation, glad to see that getting some attention in NHL 23!

Yeah it was nice. I remember when the 3 stars of the game took a little lap, it was fun.

I hope the intros show the teams running out to the ice and stuff! Overall pretty cool stuff!

Yeah as much as they want to make it similar to the broadcast, you are also playing as the player(s). Should be a shot of them storming out of the dressing room and to the ice.

False advertising

presentation can go A LONG way. these are steps in the right direction

I think its all cool stuff. One thing I think could make the facial customization better is face morphing and access to everything else already in the game that goes with face customization. It will make it easier for players to make a unique face so devs don't have to keep spending time adding new ones to an already sort of overwhelming amount of faces.

I love these changes but as someone who spends alot of time on franchise mode id love to see instead of when you complete it "franchise mode complete" instead id like to actually see an overview of your career like an actuall cool presentation

Another year and more false advertising from EA... Wait until the price drop to purchase the game and NEVER pay for packs.

Can EA make and effort to update all the arena banners? I.E. STL Blues should have a 2019 SC Banner and #44 Chris Pronger’s jersey number retired from this last season!

The black and yellow seats were removed and the jumbotron was replaced at the TD Garden in the beginning of 2019. You get a pass on missing that in 20 and 21. But this is for 23. Don't call it the arena when it looks nothing like how it does now.

@@ivanooze1049 no, it's the same pad and graphic for sure, but pretty much every goalie will go through at least 3-4 sets of pads a year

It’s something subtle but I think they should give you the ability to customize your stick colors to match your team, like if you’re playing for the leafs you can make your hyperlite blue like some players have and vice versa with other teams and color ways. Same thing with skates.

This ain’t bad but cmon EA most of these were already in the game and yall removed it. And some of these should’ve been here years ago why this took this long to add these is mind boggling

There was no national anthem before that was only for national team in 14. The fans engagement started in 15 but was not really that customizable. Projection on ice was not that great in NHL14 just the basic with team logo. But now they can change to be like your watching a game at the arena. The only thing they need to added is change like your watching at home. The TV intro like what they used to do with NBC. Since they partner with sportnet commentator why not get sportnet as a partnership to put their tv intro

Wow, I am honestly very impressed with these features they are adding to side of the game! A huge improvement in years past, which was needed! I'm sure they gameplay will be roughly the same as 22 with some improvements but pretty impressed with this and really looking forward to playing this year's title!

The metallic equipment selling point is hilarious. They literally just turned up the metallic value on their shaders for these types of equipment. This change took lass than a minute.

Been a few years since I've upgraded but EA looks like they are putting in the work and I have to give them props. Excited to see what Franchise & BAP improvements will be in this game as well!

Love the blistering 15 fps

These are all very welcome changes. Gameplay changes are important, but so are these presentation changes. It helps put you in the game, and will really be great for it all. Hoping to see those customization options in franchise and create a team as well, not just EASHL.

Some nice changes, would definitely like to see some espn graphics in next years game

I’m glad to see that this is just the trailer for all the visual and audio aspects of the game, maybe that means we will get another trailer for changes to gameplays that are to small to be in the big trailer and get a smaller one like this? Specifically in Francise

When i saw the hat trick part of this video i was really excited and happy because of how realistic it looks. The lights when you score and those on-ice projections and the hats when a hat trick happens! Cant wait for the release of nhl 23!

As someone who hasn't played a proper NHL since 17-18 I feel like the features added are the equivilent to a map rework and couple of skins for any other game.

Way to make on ice projections 1-8 times you play.

I love everything about this! I’m an avid franchise mode user and my problem with earlier games was that it was too repetitive and open ended. Now there’s more to do

Yeah all this is great except for the fact that they've done nothing for us into City sake like what about honoring no trade Clauses and no movement clauses and like they had an NHL 04 being able to call up your player or players asking for a trade for different reasons of course you could talk them out of it but there's so many things that they could have done instead of some of this for franchise mode

It's too late for NHL 23, but for 24 could the players be shown walking out of the tunnels and onto the ice for the intros? Having them already on the ice is getting pretty lame.

@@yoda18 Been playing NHL since 2002, including NHL 94. I definitely prefer NHL 14 over 22 obviously but the presentation is what got me hooked. It's my money so it's not your problem. I pre-ordered the game as soon as I heard they revamped the crowd and all that a couple of weeks ago.

At least they added national anthems and louder fans, more reactions by the fans, way better cup celebrations and win celebrations. And when you score a hat trick its gonna be incredible seeing the fans thrown not just hats but other things too. This should be finally a decent game

Why was the frame rate under 30 in some places?

i apreciate the fact that ea and the nhl has put all this work into the game but i still would love to see the offline franchise mode brought to the online co-op factor so me and friends can play the ai online together and do like a franchise with a team mak trades sign free agents stuff like that
