I play Center a lot in WOC. Humans are pretty easy to win against if you just pay attention to how they play. As for a CPU opponent I find that the backhand works a lot against them most of the time. Forehand in the my teams defensive zone. I have no luck with tie ups against CPUs though. I can't figure out how a CPU wins a face off to the wingers. Any idea how they do it?

Why not switching from Basic Backhand to Basic Forehand. I know that Backhand Sticklift have one more win and one less neutral, but the 2 matchups you lose with Basic Forehand are the matchups you win with your Basic Backhand. It gives you more chance to win when you get back to Basic Backhand no ?

Is there a faceoffs bug since the last update, i was 57,7% out of like 5000 faceoffs in eashl before the update. and now i literally can't win a single faceoff i can even get constantly beat by the faceoff deke.

  • @bigchris54321

Agreed. According to that chart the F/O Deke should hardly ever win. But it's rampant in EASHL, beating all the basic/lift/tie up counters.

  • @naveedgol

What I think is happening is that the opposing center is using hybrid controls. Hybrid controls allow you to take a faceoff without a grip by simply pressing X on PlayStation or A on Xbox. Not sure why EA made their control scheme give them such an advantage.

@@naveedgol Yeah someone brought it up and it makes sense but I've been killing it with a small guy. I was having a bad night and came to see if I was just dumb or what. I will say the counter for the basic backhand is not the stick lifts. Idk about for you but I've never won it with stick lift. I either win with basic forehand or forehand push. Some games it seems like they'll let a guy go backhand all game and win every draw though.
