In 1995 this song was on top ten on the now Radio Zimbabwe formerly Radio 2. It was my father’s favourite song. We buried him on Tuesday 8 December 1998; exactly 22 years ago. May his soul rest in peace. Tapa, Katondo, Nyagumbo, Ndongwe ,Maphosa and Shupi mentioned in the song are all personalities from Goromonzi.

These are also relatives to Mike Mopo. Tapa is father to Potiphar. Shupi was son to Mike Mopo's brother and he was an orphan. He is in Australia.
