The song writer (Hlwan Paing) had a crush on his childhood bestfriend named Hnin and this was written for her. They had known for over 10 years and were so close but he never had the chance to tell her that he had always liked her since they were young, just cuz he was too afraid to tell his feelings. She liked him too (or so I think) and was always waiting for him to open up his feelings which he never did. So, she moved on but they stayed friends.. like he told in the ending "Forever friends" :)
