Ngmala which is originally spelt as Ŋmala is a cult by the Ga people usually celebrated in the 2nd and 3rd week of February. It is a Serpentis deity which collectively refers to deities of serpentic nature.
/*There are clearer explanations and subtitles offered to make the viewer understand whatever is happening in the video. The video was not really planned for as I took shots of it as I chanced on it accidentally so pardon the quality and the few humans that blocked the camera here and there.*/
Among the Ngmala deities, Nana Adu Kwasi is the king and he has a wife called Nana Nteren/Mmo Nteren. Mmo nteren's mother is called Tanowa, who is certainly an old lady where as Afunga is the husband of Tanowa.
They have children such as Aboya, Atingmele, Gyesi, Akitiw etc.
It may surprise one that these priests are native Gas, but whenever they get possessed by their respective deities, they tend to speak Nzema and Bawule.
There is a very detailed article to this on my history blog. Kindly follow the link below to read more about Ngmala and Tikali - historicalhuniah.blogspot.com...

They must be Ga fishing people who have made Nzema their home like the Fante and the Ewe fishing people.

It is because we are one people and the southerners or coastal dwellers were once united until modernity taught us seperation and tribalism

@@Huniah_Guan Your last reply is very wrong. You need to tell people the facts for a better understanding to lead to a good future for all.
