A Side By Side Comparison Between The McLaren P1 And The McLaren P1 GTR Fully Upgraded In Need For Speed Unbound.
Played on PC using Xbox Series X Controller.
The P1 GTR is another car that suffers with its top speed. I usually don't run a -5 downforce but with the P1 GTR, it drastically improves top speed which can be very beneficial on speed tracks. Aside from that the car is also a bit unstable on bumps. The P1 is similar to the GTR just slower and more unstable.

The fact that you have to minimize downforce to get a somewhat competitive topspeed (and even then it's hard to reach without boost) is sad... well at least the gtr is faster than the regular p1. Insane runs and cool video mr zombie head 3000

The last gear doesn’t even get maxed out, that’s so weird. Almost every other car when reaching max speed they redline.

is that the cars in that game have a limited top speed like the koenigsegg regera and bugatti chiron that can't do 400kmh or 250mph

They cranked the drag on the car up 500%. That's why the downforce slider affects it so heavily

do a volvo 242 S+ vs Golf Mk I S+ Edit: my volvo has a 7l V8 maxed out with 5 speed. tops out at 325 kph but with half way trigger pull trick i get it to 340 kph

The McLaren F1 has a similar problem.
The car is definitely good in handling but top end acceleration is trash though. For how much the P1 GTR goes for you’re better off with the Countach LPI-800, LaFerrari, Aventador SVJ, or the Regera.

The P1 is the new R35 GT-R. Forever bad in modern NFS.

In past NFS titles at least. The R35 was finally fixed in Unbound, but the P1s continue to suck.
