I thought the graphics were horrible when it first came out,I couldn't stand the blur and overuse of bloom. Im glad they could be turned off on PC, not sure about consoles though. The track textures looked muddy back then to me too. Fun game though regardless of graphics.

For those that are wondering how it was done , a script was edited in the games memory when it was launched, it removed Mia's trigger to call you about the oil left at the start of the race thus , making Razor not tampering with your car lol

No. I've used this modscript. The car is not saved in your garage. If you change cars you lose it. If you use extra options to allow yourself to have all cars in the shop you can buy the slow one and the fast one for 500,000 each.

Most Wanted 2012 was in early stages meant to be a sequel, but was scrapped to be some high performance exotic car driving game that feels way too generic. From here NFS started a downfall

Mozrow Drops i haven't played any nfs game after Rivals. That game was a huge disappointment. Didn't come close to Hot Pursuit. And Payback looks like it's trying to capture the magic of the older games but from what I've seen it isn't as good as the older ones. Very cringe dialogue and it doesnt seem like a game people will be talking about in 10 years time. But like i said, i haven't played it.

This was a true Moment of madness lol

It s been over 10 years now and I still have the game on the 512mb memory ram I have in my PC. I literally finished the game over 100 times and I ve also finished all of the challenges after beating razor. This game can never get me bored

I like how through almost all recent NFS they bring this iconic car back just for nostalgia. I came here just because in NFS Heat the car appears and I felt nostalgic.

Dude, I've been playing Heat, an they changed so much for no reason.....like they "fixed" shit that wasn't broken. This one and carbon are the 2 best one, this one at number 1 on the list.

You didnt like underground 2 and the early nfs games?

I was pretty into street racing games when this came out (I got this really cheesy low budget one too, the cutscenes in it are hilarious), and I swear I saw a "deluxe edition" or whatever that let you keep the M3, because "life begins at 170mph".

There is a black edition which this is the version I use, that's quite interesting to hear, that you could keep the M3, I'll dig around and see what I can find thank you :)

I find nfs games to age surprisingly well. Ive recently gotten back into underground 2 and the graphics are still pretty good for how old the game is

I've never noticed before that when you're ahead of your opponents the time displayed is positive! It is usually negative in any racing game !

Wtf so you keep you car with you. So which car will Razor be using? Also if you retain the car then what's the point of the whole story? The story is to win and get your car back xD

Well yeah this exploit rules the whole story out, and razor still uses the M3 as if we didn't win the race, cause the game still thinks we lost hence the cutscene that shows the car hooked up to a recovery truck

When i first played the game i had a broken version where your engine wont break and you could win the razor race

There are 2 versions of the BMW in Most Wanted. The Prologue BMW M3 GTR - Is slower in terms of top speed and acceleration. has a longer nitrous duration but low power boost. The Epilogue BMW M3 GTR - Is faster in terms of top speed and acceleration. has a shorter nitrous duration but high power boost. The handling on both versions of the GTR is the exact same, but the prologue version can take almost every corner flat out due to the fact that it's slower than the epilogue version.

You keep your car the entire map and all cars and upgrades are unlocked congratulations
