Imo I don’t think pursuit breakers fit the style of police in this game. You aren’t really encouraged to take out the police or even engage them unlike Most Wanted. They’re presented as much more as a threat, especially due to the intense and dark chase music. Also, there is far less unit composition than MW, meaning if you hit a pursuit breaker, then you probably took out everyone chasing you (too easy). I also think the police encourage you to be far more strategic and quick thinking, rather than just ramming them a couple of times. Don’t get me wrong, I think pursuits in MW are awesome. I just don’t think their style of police fit with this game. Interested to hear your thoughts 👍

,@@emptybucket5280 I hear you. I guess you make a good point, especially with the unite mod the cops are brutal to get off your tail. Somewhat scary to go out in the night with a slower car, you know you will probably lose tons of money if they catch you racing. Which is kind of a "realistic" Street racing feeling I guess. I just wish they would make a game with these graphics and atmosphere, with decent driving physics and a tons of cops chasing you to smash into and destroy. It's been too long since we had a real MW game. Ik there is heat, but that one is only a little step in the right direction. If it was just about the races & cars. I'd rather play Forza Horizon, which has way more cars and tuning possibilities & the races are actually challenging. The cop chases are the only thing that set NFS apart and makes it special. But for the last decade, they just can't seem to get it right anymore. The vanilla cops in NFS 2015 as an example are so bad, I didn't even know they existed until halfway through the game & you could lose them instantly if you just go full throttle.

@@JohnDev Oh yeah 100%. Cops are probably the most important feature in a NFS game since for every other feature I can just play Forza. I definitely wouldn’t be complaining if the police in NFS 2022 were like Most Wanted, but I also don’t mind the idea of police being presented as more of a threat that you should “avoid”. It’s two different types of thrill, I guess. MW pushes you and encourages you to keep increasing your heat level and bounty as you smash more and more police. NFS 2015 (Project Unite version) makes you feel far more vulnerable and worried whenever your heat level increases.

right like they advertised cops chasing the player, but they were like non existent in the game which was too bad because the atmosphere of the game seemed perfect for cops to be in :/

​@@emptybucket5280true. The thing about NFS 2016 cops is that they're not here to have you brawl with them like brain-dead heat or Unbound ones. This NFS had a very tight kinda maze-like map. You were supposed to use the complexity of the roads to make your escape by drifting through tight corners. It was a new approach but idio*s couldn't figure it out thus "NFS16 had the worst cops"

Best pursuit EVER!!! Driving like a badass in a badass car. That was intense indeed, I will probably never experience such a good pursuit in my whole life. Also, how tf did you manage to get away from those cops at 14:30??? Just crazy man, good stuff, liked and subscribed👍😎

Well, still very impressive! Shame we cant play together since im on PS4…but keep up the good work!!!

Love the exaggerated jump towards the end of the pursuit. Overall great video. Like how the Unite mod gives that extra touch of intensity to the police chases

Man the chop on that vette so nice 😌

I can imagine how difficult and rare it is for someone to escape from a tier 5 cop chase!

Now the only thing missing would be a Pursuit theme

The theme is already so good, the beat tempo make you feel in danger

I feel bad for one lapd cop just doing his job but getting his crown vic torn to shreds by a corvette

Never knew that they have spikes in this game. Or the concrete barriers blocks on the road. Because the police in the original is so easy to escape...

The game runs about the same with or without the Project Unite mod. Whatever pc specs are required to run NFS 2015 (can be found on the NFS store page on Steam) are the specs required to run Project Unite 👍

Quick answer: Mod has the same physics as in vanilla, which means they are worse than Heat. The PU handling mod for Heat drastically improves the handling even more (haven’t played the handling mod for 2015) 👍 The physics in this mod are the same as vanilla, which means they’re pretty poor haha The main issue for me is the way your car hits objects. It’s difficult to describe, but the way you bounce off an object just feels really clunky. The handling also isn’t great imo, but the Project Unite team have made a handling mod for 2015 (though I haven’t tried it yet) Heat’s physics are much better than 2015, and my issue with collisions aren’t present in Heat. Also, crashes are far more enjoyable and it’s great how you can still drive while in a ‘crash cam’. With that being said, your car clips into the ground far more often than in 2015 which get can annoying. Handling is better in Heat, ESPECIALLY with the Project Unite handling mod.
