That definitely IS a cut of some of the star wars theme. It's been modified slightly but they were definitely using some of the music from episode III to make it..

Best theme song by far (in my opinion) is NFL FOX, the way the trumpets and brass play at the beginning gives me goosebumps, it makes it seem like an epic battle is about to take place

The Johnny Pearson Orchestra "Heavy Action". In 1971 it became ABC's Monday Night Football theme. It is hands down the best football theme song ever.

The Classic Monday Night theme of the 70's, with Howard Cosell et alii, commencing at 5:38 is one of the great classic NFL themes, and I believe used in some of their historical videos too ... ? ------------------------------------------ Thanks for including the MNF theme of the latter 80's and 90's too.

But you did leave out the present Thursday Night Theme. ....? And actually for a few years Monday night had a song, too, similar in style and formatting to "Sunday Night" (with Faith Hill, or whatever her names is}, and after they gave up the "Are You Ready for Some Football" theme.... -------------------------------------------------------------- But yes, the original MNF theme is one of the NFL's classic themes.

the CBS theme sounds like something EPIC is about to go down

MNF on ABC, now used on ESPN, I'm pretty sure, will always reign as the undisputed champ of intro themes. Dont know how to explain it, but that theme is the only one that really builds suspense, especially before a meaningful game with an announcer filling the audience in on the tale of the tape of the two teams about to square off.

This gets me so pumped its ridiculous

To be clear ABC and ESPN are both owned by The Walt Disney Company. In 2005 when NBCUniversial gained the rights to SNF on NBC, Disney merged ABC’S Spots division into ESPN on ABC. With that they moved MNF to ESPN and ratings have declined for over a decade! They still have a chance for ratings to climb back with 3 additional MNF games, and 2 playoff games simulcasting on ESPN and ABC, and ABC getting the super bowl rights back for 2026 and 2028! Personally I think they should just move MNF back to ABC full time! On week 13 MNF With the Bills and 49ers the viewership was at 14.2M!

this fucking song follows me everywhere, first heard it on Madden NFL 96 (snes), then on NFL on TV and they even play it on the ufc now (ufc on fox)!

Completely agree. He has been a great QB for most of his career, but hardly ever gets mentioned with Brady and Manning. The last couple games show what he is capable of when he gets good protection and good receivers, something Peyton Manning has been fortunate to have his entire career including college.

That's my point. In my opinion Ben Roethlisberger is is being surrounded by better players who can stop the pressure. If the Steelers can keep this up they might have a chance of atleast being AFC championship winners. Espeically with Antonio Brown. One of the best receivers in the league right now.

The FOX theme is sooo well composed. It's very good.

Despite not having the better telecast, and a ridiculous football robot, fox really does have the best theme.

The 70’s MNF is edited big time. It’s called Heavy Action by Johnny Pearson. It was just another sound clip back then. The track was used for the Super Bowl IX highlight film and you can hear it in its complete glory on KZread.

I love the ESPN theme music! Sunday night football is great too!

CBS is absolutely the best, I am biased though being a fan of an AFC team.

I remember the original ABC MNF theme song like it was yesterday. Howard Cosell was quite a character during those years.
