Makes no sense to either especially when teammates lightly headbutt each other after a touchdown, they chest bump each other after a touchdown, smack each other on the bum after a touchdown, or the dumbest of penalties if they dare do a little dance after making a touchdown. The ones that really grind my gears is when the refs intentionally get in the way of a player that jumps up and catches the ball and immediately starts running only to have to destroy the run to avoid running the ref over and collides unplanned with another player and the ref throws a flag for unnecessary aggression and a foul against an official and is disqualified from the game. This season and most prior seasons has really solidified my suspicions that NFL refs ultimately are the ones that determine who wins each game. I.E. I can't remember what player or season but I'm almost sure it was this season that a player signaled to a ref to ensure he was in proper formation and the ref signaled back with a thumbs up and as soon as they snapped the ball the same ref threw a flag and whistle and gave the guy a penalty for illegal formation. No joke the butthole did it directly in front of the coaches, fans, and obviously on live tv and right after he threw the flag and whistled he had that evil shit eating smile on his face. Made me want to teleport thru my tv and bish slap that mf because I do believe he costed them a win as they were just a few yards from an easy touchdown with just a few seconds remaining in the 4th quarter.

If y'all can't see through the phony nature of the NFL after this, and all the other shit they pull, then IDK what to tell you. And it's not just the refs. These players know the rules too, as "professionals." Collectively, they are making billions of dollars as "professionals" to win games, yet they always manage to come up with costly penalties at the exact wrong time. Sometimes it's on the ref, sometimes it's on the player. But collectively, this isn't what an actual sports league looks like. This is what "sports entertainment" looks like. Nobody getting paid 10 million a year (or more or less) repeatedly makes such egregious mistakes. If it were you making that much to make stupid "mistakes" at your job, you would have been fired yesterday, so hard your soul woulda left your body. You'd be lucky if they didn't have you killed. They can, but not if the celebration is using field items as props, is abusive towards opponents or fans, and so on. Just celebrate, and drop the rest, and you are good.

Unless you are physically touching someone/harming someone, these unsportsmanlike or taunting penalties need to go. The “taunting actions” are only executed when it’s at a player, yet you can do in the vicinity of a player and it’s clean (just don’t directly look at him)… makes no sense. Just get the penalty out of the game. “Taunting” fuels more competition and harder playing players knowing someone is on the other side willing to clown them on live television if they don’t give their all… an overall more enjoyable playing and watching experience

Yes, I agree. It is stupid to celebrate in a way you earn a penalty, or knowing the rule to keep your helmet on you, and still take it off, and get a penalty.
Harmless points at guys after a catch should not be a penalty, not even words were spoken lmfaooo

Actions speak louder than words. And most definitely any type of taunting should be penalized. It has no place in the game. Period.

@@calibrexdaoc it’s called football, they trash talk the ENTIRE game. Curse words are spoken on the line all game. Now they point after a play and it’s just over the top? Nah fam, that’s weak.

@@HypedBounty they are professionals, not thugs. Act accordingly. Making motions of signaling is thuggish (shot calling), words set as actions (hence the phrase I used in OP), and being unsportsmanlike has no place.

@@bruhbutton4520 I know what the game is called, you don’t need to repeat it. And trash talking has a time and place, but when their inappropriate and unsporting actions influence and cheapen the game, that’s why people dislike it - and football owners are trying to remove it. Every other better sport has gone lengths to clean up. Football is in the past with antiquated rules and methods.
I think some toxic is is good that it’s gone, but this is just crazy. I guess they made it PC friendly?
0:52 what is Moore still smiling about?
I find it kinda silly how taunting/unsportsmanlike conduct is just as bad as grabbing someone's face mask and yanking it.
Kinda rich seeing the broncos taunting literally anyone 😂
I've noticed a trend with the content of their character

Diontae Johnson always makes a great play and then screws it up by taunting right afterwards
steffon diggs did this when the mineapolis miracle 0:05 he took his helmet off
THE BODIES ARE GETTING BIGGER..AND THE BRAINS ARE GETTING SMALLER
There should be more of those penalties called to discourage the childish behavior of these ego-maniacs.
