Just man this guy was my childhood you know on Sunday’s watching the whole avengers play Peyton manning throw to him

Literally made me wanna play football and play just like him, a true legend who put a passion in my heart to escape the shit I had going on at home. Rest easy DT, by far my favorite receiver of all time

Not gonna lie this hit me different... Waking up to this and just cried instantly.. One of my younger brothers favorite players... He was the biggest Denver Broncos fans win/lose/draw... My younger brother passed away 10/30/20 at the age 25... Hopefully he is welcoming DT with open arms... Rest in Peace DT to you and your family...

the year i started watching football i watched with my dad who’s a broncos fan, and i remember watching DT. he was one of the first players i liked and always look out for him when watching the games. he created so many childhood memories and brought so much happiness into the hearts of denver fans. He was in my opinion the best Broncos WR of my lifetime. Thank you for everything. RIP Demariyus Thomas #88🕊

As someone who is 18, this is personally the toughest death of an athlete to me. When you are growing up watching a guy who is good enough you remember their name, you form a bond with that guy and the memories you have related to him. Demaryus was one of those guys. You’re a legend dude, prayers for all the loved ones and family who are just devastated.

Damn damn this hard I remember watching him when he was in college I'm from Birmingham Alabama I lived in Atlanta for 6yrs and I just remember always thinking wats a wide receiver like that doin going to Georgia tech knowin he wouldn't get the chance to shine like that but that basically told me something that he was still there because he loved his state and Georgia tech was a good school that showed you that he was smart man and once he linked up with Peyton in Denver one of my favorite teams because Shannon Sharp and just some of the history of the broncos it was my favorite quarterback of all time man it was just amazing just watching what he became in the person he was in like if you knew his story all the stuff that he came through and that he made it out of like this guy was little role model and a person to look up to and admire his smile never fails like man it just really truly hurts like I remember watching this guy in his Hay Day like he's right up there with Julio Jones AJ Green whoever you you want to name for wide receiver doing my generation and I'm a 90s baby I've seen a lot of great wide receivers but specially within the past 10 15 years that man has to be put up there as a top five top 10 wide receiver I seen come through the NFL in and no denying that and it's just truly sad and heartbroken that this man lost his life at 33 years old and said he basically 7 years older than me about to be 34 in a few weeks I mean man it makes you think about life in a whole different picture but I just want to send love and respect to his family I know they're going through a tough time but I just pray that Yahweh is watching over y'all that's sending y'all his love to his family and all his loved ones r.i.p.
