Mark Davis has destroyed that team. He's paying two coaches right now, and neither one is coaching the team. They settled with Gruden and now they have to pay McDabiels. Should have either kept JDR or stood by Gruden, or at least Bisaccia.

It kinda is but timex is an ideal sport watch. It’s cheap, durable, lightweight and has the stop watch feature and all that. Gotta say this turned out to be a great ad tho. Love the Jocko touch too.

Didn’t see much Coach love for watches, but a great ad for Timex and SEAL guy was kinda cool

I love how practical many of them are. You want something to tell you the time and possibly the date as well. Doesn't have to be worth thousands of dollars

These are the kinds of pieces I love to see from NFL Films. These small consistencies you see throughout this group of accomplished individuals that have significants but we wouldn’t think twice about just watching the game on Sundays. Absolutely loved this

I’m a huge watch fan and yes I have a TIMEX IRONMAN and it is the essential stripped down no frills timepiece to end them all. I love it, even though I rarely wear it. It nevertheless is SICK!

Good story about two of my favorite things to watch on KZread- watches and football coaching

I tend to lean more towards vintage Bulovas. I’ve always liked their look. It’s classic and timeless without be ostentatious.

A few coaches with a rolex submariner on, also casio gshock dw5600 is another classic.

It's nice to see Jacko make a point and more people take accountability.

I'm a big watch guy. When I played football in high school, I took it off. I always wore wristbands or kept my left glove on through the game. Now I always have one on every day. Other than football, since I was a kid I loved watches and wearing them.

The Ironman 30 was my running watch before smart watches. I didn't realize it was still so popular, but it's a simple design that works well. Personally I prefer it to G-Shocks, which I feel are too chunky and not as nice to use.

When I trained for marathons, I never wore a watch. I’d be looking down every 30 seconds. To me it’s more of a distraction than an aid. However I do wear a watch everyday.

The fact that they wear a proper watch is all i care about, but i do like brands outside of Timex and Casio. Dont be afraid to branch out.

I don't care what anybody says, Timex watches are great time pieces for short money.

Honestly disappointed by this as a "watch guy". It's not like I have crazy expensive watches, but this is very much a paid Timex piece. And while I like Timex fine enough (I have several) at the end it comes off lame. Speaking of which, Timex I have some older pieces that I'd love your help with. 60-80's stuff.

Well I just got pulled into sitting through a 15 second ad to watch a nearly 8 minute ad for a wrist watch.

Nice timex commercial. Implying they are watch guys is a misnomer here…using a basic watch simply to tell time doesn’t make you a watch guy. These coaches should at least use Casio g shocks.

Reference Timex, no bigger ambassador to Timex than Dabo Swinney, Coach Billy Napier wears a Timex. Coach Doug Pederson wears a Casio G shock during the Season and a Gold Rolex at times in off season. Saw John Harbaugh switch to wearing a rubber strap Rolex Sub as he has been wearing a Stainless Rolex Sub for several years. Vrabel wears a Rolex Saw Philly Nick Nurse now wearing a Gold Rolex President... Quinn Snyder of hawks wears ....Panerai,Breitling, and Rolex GMT with Jubilee band. I see a lot of Apple Watches being worn especially in college.

Does nobody have a phone? It’s 2023 I don’t understand this logic Good video though, especially when it got the the Jocko part. And interesting to think about Maybe having the watch there and being more aware of time gets you to be more purposeful with your time rather than waste it? Idk

As a watch wearer I can say that I want to be able to check the time without reaching into my pocket, pulling out my phone, getting distracted by notifications, and then putting my phone back into my pocket, especially when I'm with other people. I happen to carry my phone with me pretty much everywhere because I work a desk job. But I can easily imagine that many of these guys do not carry their phones out to the practice field. Or other men and women who work jobs where it isn't allowed or practical to carry or get their phone out all the time.
