The Ravens had it all set up for them to win it all and they blew it again. The AFC having to deal with Brady all of those years only to have Mahomes emerge has gotta be hell. Salute to the Chiefs.

Two games, two instances in crunch time where quarterbacks play atrocious situational football and the Chiefs benefit. And of course the media will still continued to put Allen and Lamar in that ‘elite’ category

They are elite. It’s just that Mahomes is that much better than everyone.

The analytics guys just kill me. Such a stubborn group of people. The race is over. Your horse did not win the race. But there you are telling anyone and everyone that you picked the right horse. Just accept you are wrong as you have been proven wrong in real time. He made the wrong call. Take the damn points.

The Lions passed on two field goals!

I *_called_*_ it!_ I _said_ that the Lions never play a Full Game & no matter how impressive they look in one half, unless you're the Panthers, it won't continue. I don't know _why,_ but it's been All Season Long. Still, I need a qualified analyst to look at what Wilkes did & did not do because the *Bears* nearly beat the Lions twice with a Far Worse defense but better tactics so there's no excuse for someone leading a better one to fail to use those tactics & road map to success. Speaking of play-calling... wtf was wrong with the Ravens? Do they think it's illegal to pass shorter than 15 yards? Play after play of Lamar staring hard like he's trying to look over the horizon & less than 5 short pass attempts all game gave the Chiefs Plenty Of Time to strip-sack him, sack him, get close enough to bat his passes down & pressure him non-stop. & *where **_was_** the Ravens' D?* Aside from Smith & Hamilton they were a Complete No-Show pressuring neither Mahomes nor anyone else on the Chiefs. Whatever tf Harbaugh did last week to rev them up half-time he should have saved for this game because WOW did they just look lost out there. It was like they had one Plan A, then thought it would work so why have a Plan B? The Chiefs acted to win, yes. & they played *amazing* on D. But the Ravens beat themselves by NOT playing on O. They just never got started.

sports discourse sucks cause of comments like this lol it's not about analysis or anything like that, just about bragging about your takes

@@Coolquip43 ...you may want to reread the above. Or not. I'm not responsible for whatever tone you decide to project onto what you read. The "I called it": isn't a take. It's something I noticed that I haven't heard anyone else mention. I also pointed out that I have No Idea Why this *is* the situation. That's hardly bragging. Also I didn't fill in anything else with anything that _sounds like_ a take. Just observation. But you do you.

As a Lions fan, they came out poorly most third quarters this season. Also had all sorts of problems against running QB, especially Justin Fields. They lack an above average front seven like the other three teams that were left in the playoffs. Hutch was getting pancaked by Kittle for goodness sake. 🤣

@@yelsu3358 I _KNOW_ it. It seemed though that they thought that all their passing plays needed to be long passes! The Ravens refused to stick to either the run _or_ the short passes that almost always worked. Their first 2 runs were their first 2 plays, as if they were robotically following a formula, then they went long pass plays the rest of the game. The D was fine, if not up to their usual standards. 17 points should have been _easy_ to overcome. The Chiefs weren't Totally Dependent upon the Ravens doing this to win, they called *_GREAT_*_ plays_ on D. But the Ravens' offensive play-calling didn't work _All Game._ They beat themselves.
