I listen to both artists' music and they are both good artists. Both their music are really nice to listen to when angry and let down by someone. But I don't think I have to tell you that Olivia's album is more general for people to relate to (sour is mostly angry and hurt songs about a break up), Nf has good music, but he is not for everyone and not everyone can relate to all his topics. Also, her music is way easier to find because people already knew her from shows she's starred in. I mean, nf's song let you down is more mainstream because most people can relate to it (it's about letting someone down which most people can relate to in some way and somebody else letting him down - also it's a very confusing song where he first talks about letting someone down and then being angry at her). But even if more people could find his music, again, his music is not for everyone. "It's too depressing" or negative for some people, which I understand. Some songs are a little too pessimistic for me too, but I think most of his angry lyrics and songs are justified anger that not everybody understands. So yeah he'll probably always be underrated. Also, I saw a video where someone said his songs are too similar to another and he made some good points in it. Still love NF though. He is one of my favorite artists. But I also like how passionate and honest he is. He's not a hypocrite. He's real (ain't that the slogan nathan)

I can’t believe how time flies. I was once an excited 8th grader jamming at a concert at a small venue with a small crowd of us that actually knew who NF was. Now I’m a freshman in college and I’ve seen him blow up and effect millions more. I still come to his music all the time, and it never fails to help whatever I’m going through.

NF's music is therapy my wife has Anxiety, depression,and Bipolar Disorder, there music really helps her and makes me love her even more.Thank you NF.

I showed my teacher this song back in 7th grade. At the time I didn’t think much of it, I just thought it was a good song. She was going through a divorce at the time and when she listened to all the lyrics I watched her start crying by the end of the song. She said that’s the first time a song had ever impacted her in that way.

the use of the girl is a metaphor for the death of love when he was in that bad relationship and he's crying as the love, the girl died. NF is true to himself and everyone else, and i hope he knows that he impacts of all us with every line and word but at the same time he doesn't need to feel pressure from us, just like him we are people, not only fans and we care.

Another thing about this song that gets me is how freaking well I can personally relate to it. 2019 came, right after my 15th birthday, and I got diagnosed with T1D (type 1 Diabetes). When I FINALLY got out of that children's hospital (thanks so much for the support, Texas Children's!) I came back to church and I talked with my friends about the illness and they were like "Sorry about that." But they moved on from it. They don't treat me any differently than they did before the diagnosis, which I actually prefer. But one of my "friends" didn't treat me the same. I talked with her, and she seemed...off. Like she stopped treating me like we were friends. "Yeah, we used to talk like best friends, I remember that, I guess I don't know what happened to us, now you got me questioning what trust is, you told me you would be there for me, yeah but you ain't really mean it, did ya?" Now she wanna jump ship. Leave me here alone. If she was really my friend, she wouldn't stop talking to me. I can't even hold a normal conversation with her anymore, and we haven't talked since then. More on NF, though. His music was and still is one of the only things that helps me get through the day. Thank you, Nate.

The video has a meaning (i think) The car: the relationship Nf is steering the relationship and trying not to crash it but cuz the girl the relationship crashes... suddently the girl dies so that means she is gone. But. From the relationship. When the ambulance come it seems like Nf is still trying his best for the relationship but he needs help aka ambulance when the girl dies the relationship ends. (This is my own thinking of the music video. I do not know if its true so please dont blame me)

This whole song hits hard and close to home. When you get so use to everyone leaving then finding someone who never wants to leave it’s scary. You will have destructive traits that try to destroy yourself and your relationship and your job. But hey we’re use to being alone so if it does fall apart we will just pick our self back up and keep going.

The biggest paradox is that my girlfriend broke up with me and on the day I heard this song for the very first time cause a friend told me about it I had an accident in which I almost died and gotten into intensive care in the hospital. Needed weeks to get out. Will never forget this coincidence!!!

The music starts rather haunting, picks up, and....why am I crying? The beats, the lyrics, and the visuals. We are all getting a glimpse into the mind of NF. How many of us can relate in some way?

This song literally means the world to me. It felt like NF was telling my story through the video and the lyrics. I was in a car accident where my ex of a 9 year relationship almost died. However, I ended up saving his life. After that, and even a little bit before that, he started changing on me. He wasn't himself anymore, and I couldn't even look at a picture of him without feeling some type of way. I had to put all of our pictures away. He would act like I didn't even matter or exist, and refused to talk to me. He cheated on me, and I couldn't bear to ask with who. Not only all of those details were expressed in this amazing and moving song, but MANY more details are included as well. It was chilling how accurate and close to home this song hit to me. I'm a huge NF fan, and I cried when I saw him in concert. I know every lyric to every one of his songs, and listen to every song on repeat, every day. There isn't one song of NF's that I dislike to be honest, and it's indescribable as to how much I relate to every freaking song. "Real Music till the day we die"~NFrealmusic I LOVE YOU NF!!!!!!

This song reminds me of someone. I loved them dearly. They were my everything. They were Strong, smart, compassionate and kind. They cared strongly for their friends. Sometimes I would notice scars of the past. But we never spoke it aloud. Something happened and I wasn't there that moment. They felt like everything they fought for was gone and all hope lost. They turned into someone they never wanted to be. Someone unrecognizable. I wish I could go back in time. Be there. It will haunt me forever. Because now whenever I look at their face I see a stranger with some reminders of what was once my world. I'd die for them if it meant I could get them back. If it meant they would turn into the person I once knew. If it meant that they could smile again

The visuals and the lyrics relate to me separately as in the lyrics bring back one set of memories and personal experience and the visuals bring back a different set of memories ones that still haunt me and give me nightmares. It's amazing that a person can relate so much to music. NF is such a genuine person and artist who writes truth and about real things not just for the popularity and the money and there's not much of that around anymore. I consider it something of an honour for you to have gone through what you went through in your life although probably all not good they made you who you are today and gotten you to the point where you use music as an outlet for those experiences, something we can all relate to.
