the fact that all three were nominated and none of them won....
The way Jack commands the stage as soon as he steps onto it... he's absolutely magnetic as Gabe. You feel his presence even when he's offstage.
Mabe im reading too much into this, but its interesting that Diana laments that "nothings real" only to turn away and try to leave when her real child-Natalie-appears and instead reaches for Gabe-who isn't real- when he comes in.

Incredible performers - the fact they didn't win is a travesty of justice
Proving that simplicity is best. They need no fancy staging, gimmicks, special effects, elaborate costumes to embellish their performances. Their raw talent shines through and they are all winners if you ask me.

Saw the original Michael Grief staging on Broadway with the full OBC (Alice Ripley, Aaron Tviet, and Jennifer Damiano). This new production for its UK premiere brought the musical to a whole new level!!!
