Great news! Every time I see the map option on BGA, I get overly excited and have to remind myself there's just one option right now.

I really love this game and i fully agree with what Chris said. For me it's the perfect roll/flip and wright cause it's very intuitive very fun and you make your own map afterwards that looks like something. It's my go to game on BGA where i want just 10 to 20 mins of just calm drawing lines. I wish there were more maps but even with one it's still a lot of fun and i'm just waiting patiently for a release over here, cause paying 28€ (including shipping) is a bit to much for me. Until then, BGA it is

Is this going to be the only x-and-write game that you don’t laminate, or are you going to laminate and use colored dry erase pens?

Great review as always, DT. Personally this one did not captivate me. The whole time I was just wondering why I wasn’t playing Trails of Tucana instead. It works, it’s a neat idea. But to me it was a bit clunky, the boards were too small, that accordion rulebook should be burned, and it’s about a 5/10 but of course that’s just one person’s opinion and I seem to be in the minority.

If Chris rates this one a 9, what’s Cartographers? A 15? The concept of passing the coloured pencils each round looks pretty unique.
