    Some are assuming Zero is the WoL's shard in the 13th, but I think it would be interesting if it was Golbez himself. After all, he ended up being Cecil's brother in FF4, and our WoL is a paladin in this expansion just like Cecil so...

    What with emet's bucket list still at large in some capacity, I am so so SO excited to finally go to meracydia The fact that all we know about it is that it's where some of the dragons come from and it was laid to waste by allag who then captured tiamat and bahamut is context enough But it's been so so many years, that even emet had to come out and ask us "do you have any idea what's happening over there?" It's begging to finally be explored, and with the newfound focus on the void, which once again Allag did some shit with, there's gotta be a tie as we get closer to 6.55, since this is usually when we'd start seeing the signs now that .3 has come and gone

    I think Meracydia is definitely the most likely case for next expansion, but the tinfoil hat wearing part of me would absolutely love to see an expansion set in the post-apocalyptic future that G'raha travelled to the first from with the help of the Ironworks descendants, the timeline that was wiped out by Black Rose. I also think Meracydia is the most likely candidate, with the rest of Ilsabard being a close second. That being said, the way things are going with the patch storyline, I think we'll resolve the Golbez plot in the next patch, and perhaps the overall Void plot as well. Yoshi P specifically mentioned that 6.5 would have a insane event that would change everything so my current theory is: We go figure out how to open a new void gate on 6.4, Azdaja is the trial, we beat her but she flees to the moon. During 6.5 we figure out how to get to the moon on the 13th, dungeon ends with Azdaja as final boss and we somewhat free her. Golbez is the final trial and we learn that the Zodiark arena serves as a gateway between reflections (we know that was the case thanks to Art of endwalker where we see the arena was supposed to take on a lot of different backgrounds) We defeat golbez but we dont manage to stop his plan of merging the 13th with the source. A Massive voidgate opens and connects the source to the 13th, cataclysm erups and Meracydia gets hecked up. The rest of our frens get sent to the source, Azdaja ends up gettin thrown to meracydia, while we and Zero get stuck on the Void along with golbez and timey wavy shifty shit happens and we end up getting a 5 year timeskip. People think the warrior of light and Zero died that day on the moon, we become best frens with Zero and bond a lot with her, Meracydia was the continent most affected and we end up traveling there because we get to the conclusion that the Scions must be there trying to fix stuff. We meet Bunny boy gleaner and he is our guide for most of our trip and thats basically our new group of friends, Zero, Bunny boy, Krile and a few others that make up a bit of a new cast moving forward. I'm really hoping we get to see Corvos in 7.0 was leaning towards it being a continuation of Ivalice and Bozja in the EW patches since those were leading westward but that didn't happen. I could see it being a combination of Meracydia and the southern areas of Ilsabard since they don't really focus an expansion in just one type of environment. Not that we really know what Meracydia looks like but it kind of sounds like a large portion of it still might have void corruption going on.

  • @Lyu-Phy
    @Lyu-Phy Жыл бұрын

    Meracydia. Perfectly marks a new beginning, while also connecting former plot points (Allag, Dragons etc.). It's also getting teased since ages and especially lately since ShB (Tiamat) and somewhat in Endwalker. They like to tease 2 expansions in advance before leading us there. ARR=Ala Mhigo and Uldah - resolves in Stormblood, HW=Warriors of Darkness - resolves in Shb, SB= teasing the Moon, Zenos, Emet "Ascians" and Garlemald (Main villains) - resolves in Endwalker. So yeah I bet everything on Meracydia. Inbefore curveball lmao. But I agree the New World is an unlikely possibility, there is literally zero to none build up compared to other options, and if there is it's nowhere in the same "spotlight" - "insert curveball".

  • @ZekeRaiden
    @ZekeRaiden Жыл бұрын

    I agree that Meracydia seems the *most* likely option, but I don't know that I share your ironclad confidence in it. I think there's a different swerve they could give us, in order to allow Meracydia to grow in importance across the next expansion. That is: "Former Garlemald" expansion. You already recognized that Corvos/Locus Amoenus (that's "ah-mee-nus," Latin is weird about oe/ae as vowels) would make a great deal of sense as a port of call. But there are other parts of Ilsabard and Othard that could serve too, which have been _gently_ referenced without getting fanfare. Corvos would provide both our first capital city and the opening zone (likely the Crystarium/Sharlayan equivalent.) Things would proceed north and east from there. Northward would go to "outer"/"former" Garlemald: Nhalmasque (the very first nation conquered by Garlemald) and/or Landis (an early conquest, homeland of Noah van Galbranth), then the Knowing Sea, and finally the Dalvalan Grath. Eastward would scoop up Dalmasca Inferior (Greylic's Bend for the western half, Golmore Jungle for the eastern half) and Nagxia, with Valnain acting as the second capital (and, likely, the Eulmore/Radz-at-Han equivalent.) That's six solid zones, all of which have some amount of foreshadowing, though much of it is rooted in the Bozja content that not everyone has done. If I had to rank my confidence in the four most plausible expansion locations, it would be as follows. Meracydia: 45% "Former Garlemald": 25% New World: 20% The Void: 10% I don't think anywhere else makes sense at this time. As you say, we've done a *ton* of adventuring outside of Etheirys, and have just been given a LOT of reasons to stay focused on it. So I think the Void is plausible but unlikely _at this time,_ but has a strong chance of being an expansion later on (perhaps 8.0.) The New World is big enough to merit an expansion all on its own, and while some seeds have been planted, it's all pretty soft-touch, high-concept stuff. "Former Garlemald" isn't *as* solid as Meracydia, but we've (technically) gotten an actual cutscene set in Valnain (meaning they know what they want the city/region to look like), we've had several hooks noting that there's more to know about these places/friends and allies we've worked with who might reasonably ask for our help in the future (including someone claimed to be Princess Ashe), and we're ripe for a plotline about how to _re-build_ a culture that's been buried/erased (vs. the current "discover a new purpose because our old cultural purpose was evil" plotline of Garlemald proper.) Meracydia remains by far the *most* plausible option, and has gotten a lot of build-up. Further, a "Former Garlemald" expansion could be being set up now for payoff in 8.0 just as hints about Meracydia began dropping in the patches for Shadowbringers, 1.5-2 expansions later. I'm just not supremely confident that that's the only realistic option.

  • @Lyu-Phy

    The Garlean land is a wildcard for sure. It can have a full on expansion of political Game of Throne or being served as the games Bozja equivalent aka special zones. The void is even more up in the air (having it set as an expansion straight after Endwalker, while already being there feels weird). The New world is super unlikely imho, unless they throw a wild curveball. Nothing is truly suggested, but Meracydia is the best "bet" in all around build up and spotlight. Wouldn't surprise me if none of these options is the destination and we will instead go to some random shard lmao.

    @@Lyu-Phy They've already said that the 6.1-6.5 story will be self-contained, so it isn't going to be a Void expansion this time around. Personally, with all the hints dropped in 6.4 (Erenville's "homecoming" trip, the strange envelope Krile got, the cryptic convo between Urianger and Thancred), I'm even more thinking that they are setting up an expansion for what I've been calling "outer Garlemald." It might not necessarily be 7.0, after all, we got the Warriors of Darkness in 3.4, and they didn't pay off as an expansion until 5.0. But yeah I'm not convinced Meracydia is anywhere near as certain for 7.0 as most people think it is. We haven't heard a peep about it, and the only thing that could bring it in would be if 6.5 pushes us to connect to dragon-y things (trying to avoid spoilers; if you've done 6.4's trial, you know why we might want to get draconic help.) Time will tell. But I really do think people are overlooking signals pointing to Corvos and Valnain in their haste to emphasize Meracydia.

    I think you are correct. The map count may vary but with the amount of mentions Corvos and Meracydia had over the course of Endwalker and before it’s a pretty safe bet that I have been making myself. The main hub will probably be somewhere in Meracydia while the secondary hub might located in Corvos, in the town of the G Tribe perhaps. I‘ve been thinking that delving into the allagan ruins there might make a good setting for either an Alliance Raid or the regular Raid questline. On a different note, what do you think Alphinaud meant when he said he might have a use in mind for the abandoned reaper village during the quest of 6.3? Garlean Restoration?

    I'm a little hoping that the expansion will be in regards to "even of your precious Eorzea you know precocious little." I'd love to see areas already in the game fleshed out more, and new adventures relating to the places we already know. Like, for example, being able to explore the undercity of Ishgard, or learning more about the forests of Gridania. Maybe they could do a little Cataclysm-lite and have some areas damaged by a partially-successful rejoining of the first and the void. New reasons to explore places we already know. But yeah, it makes sense that the dragons will want to go back to Meracydia, especially after Vitra's sister is rescued (maybe).

We’re going to need the Convocation of the 14 to help us. Some of our new adventures may be locating the shards of some of the 14. I think we’re going to follow in the steps of Emet Selch’s travels because he didn’t visit those places just for fun. I think he went there looking for shards of the 14. I also think we’re going to need some of the old Allag empire technology to help us. We start in Corovus, looking for answers which leads us to Merecydia. Not because of dragons, but because, I think, maybe the Allag Empire didn’t completely die out. Maybe it thrived in Merecydia. I came to a similar conclusion: The massive focus this past expansion and a half have all heavily involved the dragons, Allag, and the void. So I do agree Meracydia is the likely next focus of the 7.0 xpac. I do have additional theories, though, on the plot. Golbez has been somewhat of an outlier as far as the voidsent we have been introduced to. We are introduced to Golbez in 6.1. Beyond the obvious fan service, we aren't really clued in on what their motivation is initially. They're an ominous person in armor with 4 fiends that serve at his command. However, after playing through the 6.2 and 6.3 MSQ, I was struck by a few things: 1) Golbez clearly knew what a dragon was, whereas the voidsent that were to become the Four Lords had no clue what a dragon was. This suggests that Golbez had knowledge of dragons and presumably the source 2) Golbez seems content to have underlings perform tasks for them. This suggests they have experience in ruling. He also seems to be preparing for something big, like an invasion. 3) Golbez seems to be keen on the "gateway" being open and in 6.3, solidifies his goal of leaving the 13th. We can presume this is referring to a means to travel to the Source 4) More of a appearance thing, but Golbez has REALLY big human-type body, similar to how Xande has been depicted So what does this mean? Look at the other context we have story wise: Vtra's search for his sister, lost during the Dragon vs. Allagan war. Pointing out that the 13th essentially grants immortality to inhabitants. References back to the Crystal Tower and our encounters with the Cloud of Darkness. Back story on Amon and his experiences with the Allagan empire. My theory is that Golbez is none other than...Emperor Xande! We've already established that Amon could make multiple clones. In the CT raid series, not only did we fight Xande at the end of 2nd raid, but we also fought a Xande in the 3rd raid when we traveled to the void. We know that those killed in the void don't die, so long as they aren't consumed. They also mention the Cloud of Darkness vanished after being defeated, which suggests she may have been absorbed by another voidsent or being. The story has constantly reminded us that Xande's despair about death, and the meaningless that results from it, was a focus of his. I suspect that after we killed the Xande in the void, he respawned and consumed the Cloud of Darkness, gaining some of her power and changing himself in the process. Xande got his immortality via the 13th, but he lost his original empire. My guess is that he wants to reclaim the Allagan Empire...but a twisted version that is both Allag and the Voidsent combined. The new deep dungeon even mentioned that there are tons of advanced Allag weapon centers hidden all over the planet. Xande would have known the locations of all of them presumably. By creating a portal to the Source, he would very quickly be able to establish an advanced warmachine using surviving Allagan tech. With the Garlean Empire in ruins, there would be no sufficient military force to match Allag technology either. Except the dragons.

    The 13th will be the 6th zone of the expansion for sure, and it'll pave the way to visit the rest of the reflections as you've said. What I'm more interested in is if we'll go to level 100 or cap at 99 and start earning Merits as in FFXI. If we end off on the 13th and at a hard cap of 99, then maybe we could earn 10 Merits per reflection as a psuedo-level cap increase?

    More then likely correct, however though I might be reaching out a far bit, I do hope we get to see more of the area around Garlamald/more of Ilsabard in general. I feel like theres so much room to have...almost anything in that area. Secret Garlean labs, areas built by Emet holding lore/memories, ect. I really dont want it to be left at "couple areas, rest snow, move on".

    I felt a little underwhelmed that Garlamald was just one zone that despite its size, didn't really have a lot in it. I'm hoping we get more areas to visit there outside of the city outskirts and a couple of dungeons. Feels like it would be a perfect place to put in another restoration project like we did in the Firmament. Maybe have it take place in the city proper since we haven't seen too much of that and it feels weird we didn't end up exploring that after finishing the whole Zodiark section of the MSQ.

    My hope is also Meracydia. Like you pointed out, a lot of things are riding in that direction, but I definitely think Y'Shtola's quest to find a way to travel between the Shards will definitely be taking a center point. Especially with the post-patch MSQ being so focused on the Void and the dragon siblings. Maybe that's how they end up escaping from the Void if, say, void portals are closed in the process of fighting the big bad?? Conjecture, I know. So I suspect travel to the First will be possible for the Scions and vice versa to the Source. I'd be so happy to see many reunions between members of the First and the Source! But that will inevitably be the set-up for travel to other Shards. Whether or not that will be a focus for a future expansion is to be seen. They have a lot of area to play with for future content, but my concern at this point really is that, with the close of the Hydaelyn-Zodiark story, how will they continue? What's the next story arc? Because that's what will dictate where we end up going.

    As someone from the future, I think this video is still very well researched. He said that foreshadowing has been up to two expacs in the future, considering that all this is happening in 6.x it’s easy to imagine all these plot points will come back to the front after dawn trial. What’s better after a relaxing summer vacation then to travel to a supernaturally warped demon infested nightmare place.

    Something I enjoy pondering is how Miqo'te culture has changed across the ages. I've created a fair bit of fanon about their place in Meracydia, where I believe they first originated (as that is where the Allagans then displaced some of them to where we know Corvos is). First is my interpretation that Meracydia is an aetherless desert, ex. The Burn in Othard. I like to believe it was ravaged by primal summoning by the natives trying to defend themselves from their Allagan invaders. On top of this, The Burn has its fair share of unique fauna, with the very final boss of the dungeon being a Mist Dragon. Despite The Burn lacking environmental aether, fauna can still evolve even within the confines of such an empty space, and, of course, they would change in a way that benefits them in their environment. This begs the question of how wild fauna would differentiate between the races in a setting contemporary to the time the game is set. That said, I believe The Burn is an excellent lens to have because of how it mirrors the 13th, for example, because of how there is a complete lack of environmental aether, so creatures have to feast upon one another to reach their best intake. Beyond this goes into a ton of stuff I made up cause it sounded cool, like the Miqo'te developing a unique Meracydian culture where most would be Seekers of the Sun but have a matriarchal tribal society, contrary to what we know them as. As well as a religion heavily based on rituals to appease entities called Djinn to not be eliminated by them.

  • @TheOptimistDelusion

    The Burn wasn’t ravaged by primal summonings. Y’shtola explains at some point in the MSQ how most of the land that makes up Azys La came from the Burn itself. The reason the Burn is barren is because its aether was drained by the device at the House of the Crooked Coin (presumably to levitate all that landmass and create Azys La)

    I feel like there are two ways to interpret Emet-Selch's little list for us: either as a chronological map of the places we'll visit, which seems unlikely given that some of the things he mentioned last are ones we've already seen, or more simply just as a random and non-ordered stream of thought to indicate all possible places Yoshida wants to visit whenever it makes sense for us to do so. As far as Meracydia goes, I feel as though it's easily the least likely of all those places for us to visit anytime soon. After all, they've gone through the trouble of setting up this complex storyline with the Thirteenth, and even by patch 6.3 we weren't done with it yet. We only know that for Endwalker, the pattern of ending the current expansion's story in 6.3 was interrupted, and it would frankly be odd of them to have started a new story in 6.1 only to completely derail it to an entirely different place by 7.0. Also, what you were mentioning about Tiamat is by now practically old news: we haven't seen her at all in 6.0 or any of the patches, and she hasn't even been mentioned by anyone in MSQ. Vrtra also has made no mention of Meracydia except for an indirect reference to it when talking about Allag and Azdaja. Similarly, Unukalhai and the Void have only the most tenuous of connections to Meracydia. So to me, all things considered, for now it's sounding like a big stretch. As to other possibilities, outer space seems likely at some point but not for now. There is the fact that in 6.2, Y'shtola directly mentioned the possibility of restoring the Thirteenth as the strongest hint that this is in fact where we'll be going, or that it'll be the major plot point of 7.0, at least. Given that Endwalker had a quite successful splitting of the maps into various different areas, I don't see any problem with having a few new areas be in the Source. On that point, I do agree with you that Corvos is a strong contender for a new map because it's been referenced more than once by G'raha and others in MSQ. You did forget one other possibility though, if a perhaps more remote one that might be relegated either to sidequests or a minor plot point: Aergmhus and Bluomwyda, two minor Scions currently hanging out at the Drowning Wrench in Limsa, plan on going to Aerslaent, an isle that is the ancestral home of the Roegadyn. Another possibility mentioned by Alianne, another minor Scion, is that she and her grandfather will be going to Nagxia. There may be a few more that I've missed. As an unrelated sidenote, what I found interesting about some of the minor NPCs' dialogue post-6.0 MSQ was the apparent implication that at least a few of them, most notably Clemence who is picking up AST, are being prepared to become Trust NPCs in 7.0.

    I really like the balance of 2 Ilsabard zones, 3 Meracydia zones, and 1 big super final zone. I think resolving the tension between Garlemald and their former territories works great as an expansion’s B Plot. I also think that limiting Meracydia to 3 zones would help make sure that each one is super interesting since we don’t have a lot of pre-established info to base it on. They do have to be really careful about a zone in the void though since all zones have to be permanently accessible locations for gameplay reasons (I mean it would be really cool to have a one and done final zone but they probably wouldn’t do that). Since they are leaving fixing the void as a possibility, a void zone would have to be a location that would be identical (save for the skybox) in both the current version of the void and a fixed version.

    I wonder if passage to the 1st and 13th are easiest from the source because it is nearest to it; at least if we take the diagram in the ocular as literal. It’s also implied from minfillia in 3.3 that the first is so close to the source that that’s why it’s light aspected. Hrm tho the rift is what connects all the reflections, and maybe the 13th and it’s heavily astral aligned aether would make it the perfect conduit to pierce the rift?? I mean if portals connect to the source so easily, then in theory it could connect to others just as such. Anyway! Yeah I think passage to a new reflection will have to come after meracydia/13th expansions (I also agree that they are intertwined narratively!) I do hope that 6.5 will at least have a portal to the 1st accessible to the scions. I miss ryne and would love a reunion, but I understand if that’d have to wait until post 7.0

Newfoundland is in North America, and where the Vikings landed and 'discovered' the North American continent. Also known by its acronym NA ... commonly used in giving ones data center location in FFXIV. The same acronym as the title of 6.1. Kinda dumb theory, but who knows.... Meracydia is clearly the most likely candidate. But how many predicted Shadowbringers correctly...? Very few.

Connecting them with Zero might be a good idea, to see if there is any overlap for past events; maybe an Echo vision of the 13th, because if they could change the aetheric balance of The First back from abundantly light (With the death of Light Wardens and shifting away Eden from stopping dark aether from flowing properly on The First), it's plausible that we will focus on the 13th shard and clear that up, then when we've freed Vrtra's sister and all that, that will be the catalyst that puts us on the path to Meraycida, while some of the Scions work on a plan to restore the 13th shard where we will come back to mid-expansion...teaming up with a powered up Unikalai (with the help of Nyobert's (spelling?) so heres my MASSIVE brain idea on what i think will happen and how it ties into both the new world AS WELL as meracydia and even ties in other reflections: i think in the final moments of the 6.X storyline we will learn that Golbez has been harnessing power to not only escape to the source but to also shatter the barriers between all the other shards as well. This would fit his internal narrative of "saving the shards" despite how twisted it would be. Without Hydaelyn there to be a figurative transformer to control the flow of aether to the source this would lead to an event that would make the calamities look like a playground scuffle. I think his plan will almost succeed as in it will FRACTURE the barriers between sources which will lead to the scions having to find ways to either repair/control or even create a means of controlling the flow of aether. This will force the crew to try to find people who can harness large amounts of aether (ie dragons in meracydia) but due to war with allagans this will either leave them weakened or just outright refusing any kind of deals and to find middle ground we will need to seek out assistance in the New World via the highly sought after resources that they can offer that would advance our sciences and allow us to assist the dragons in some kind of way while also building repor with the citizens of the new world. I think the repair of the 14th will also be paramount as the flood of voidsent will be a consistent issue we will have to deal with even more than before. I think this will take place of a couple expansions for sure but would also allow us to lead into a mechanic that allows travel between shards for everyone and would be a great way to expand the evergrowing world of FF14 without having to pull TOO many mary sue level hijinks. if you got this far thanks for your (hopefully) undivided attention

    In FFIV, Golbez is actually controled/possessed by Zemus, which evolved into Zeromus. As we know, FFXII Eons have appeared for some of them into Rabanastre Raid or Bozja/Zadnor and Zeromus is one of those Eons that have to appear in the game somewhere and the "Lore" or the XII's version of it actually make sense with the Void in FFXIV. Therefore, we can speculate that Golbez is controled by Zeromus for some reason and maybe that by kicking his ass (6.4 trial ?) Zeromus will flee and we will find him again and kill him (6.5 trial ?). Of course, no mention of Zeromus are made to this point cause we don't know of his existence yet. But since Golbez is tied to the Four Fiend AND Zeromus, I'm pretty sure he pulling some strings in the shadow right now. Thus, maybe leading us to a whole zone inside the Void for 7.0 after the event with Golbez/Zeromus. As for Meracydia, This is most likely the destination we will have to go in 7.0 for some reason. Maybe because of Vrtra's Sister set up free and teleported there because of some TP Malfunction ? Too weakened for her to comeback, we will have to search for her ourselves. SO TLDR : I think of Void/Meracydia/Corvus ? And for the extension name : FFXIV, Allagan Reborn ? (Jokes of course)

    Ilsabard would be the given for the next expansion just due to the set up for more Garlemald in 6.3 and the post-patch content indicating a future for them. It's the most immediate place we should be exploring, given we've been to two corners of it but not seen the juicy middle. I hope we don't get a split expansion though, I'd much prefer to stick to just one place after Endwalker had us jump around a lot.

    Meracydia seems extremely likely, and the two main places in Dalmasca since it has unused assets currently with Bozja being massively unfinished. I can see superior and inferior (desert and rainforests) being two zones, with a city hub in dalmasca and one in the southern continent. I can see a lot of miqote ancestry coming along in both places being if they didn't go to eorzea or Islabard, they would have gone to dalmasca next.

    id prefer to see Dalmasca as its been introduced into the game early on, it has a alliance raid, it has a theme within bozja, and quests hinting to it.

    I wanted to see us restore the 13th in the way that we restored the first, but we might not be ready for that yet. Everything you pointed out about the 13th was my justification for it being the next big story. So I'd either say Meracydia -OR- the fringes of the empire like Ivalice and the jungles of Bozja. If we're going to help Garlemald rebuild by proxy, we should also help the newly freed countries rebuild as well. Maybe it could be the "B" plot of the expansion, or the .x parts.

    I'm just hoping that whenever 7.0 comes it will be refreshing. Me and a friend in our FC are effectively two of the last people in our group still actively playing at the moment for minor things (he's keeping a promise to his BF to level all the jobs which he's not too far off from, I'm playing around with glamour's and my house). Once we've more or less tied those things down we'll probably be playing Monster Hunter or exploring other games/irl stuff on our own. I want us all to come back rested and feel like we're not veteran players anymore - the real start of the next adventure. But ARR was a slog and I can handle just about any amount of setup or system overhauls - it's all part of it. I'm just somewhat jealous of the people who played 1.0 and stuck it out to be rewarded by the devs for their mercy - going around in their legacy chocobos and gear while seeing a gameworld that's much better than what came before.

    Meracydia sounds like it would be a major event like shadowbringer or heavensward so i'm doubting that it will be next as all the dragon content right now makes it seem like it is build up for 8.0. Yoshi said he wanted us to go back to being an adventurer and what is more of an adventure than traveling to the new world to explore? I'm guessing we might get a new reflection by around 9.0.

    i don't think mercydia is quite on the ball as we've already had plenty to do with dragons and Tiamat has returned there as well so she most likely brought mercydia back to order for the time being. but i do think we will explore more territories that hades mentioned ie new world, southern isles, ratherfrost, corvos, and ivalice. and its also important to note that these areas do not even need be tied to main quest but could wholly be tied into a piece of content like how the empty, the seas beneath thavnir, rabanastre, and bozja become their own separate stories. but its worth noting however the new world is a whole nother continent and large mass of land so i would think the devs would want it to be a more focused area and its a place we dont know much about other than it being rich in resources and apparently having golden cities as Hades suggests. and what we know of Mercydia is that currently its a wasteland akin to a vast desert and canyon compared to what it was before Allag laid seige to it part of what it used to be is floating up high in the sky in Azys Lla.
