When I used to take chinese kenpo in the 80's, our sensei taught us to go from 1 motion to the next fluidly, instead of stiffness. I'm guessing Bo learned that philosophy as well.

This man is a huge step in the right direction for mma. Doesnt do drugs no drinking no partying family man goes to church, so refreshing to have a positive influence out there.

I recall two knee kicks to the groin on one opponent and an elbow to the face of another in that "opponents he fought roster" shown in this PR flick. But overall, yah, he seems so far a legitimate fair fighter, a real quick demon, and able to repeatedly change strategies on the go when opportunities present themselves. 👍

Looks like the judge just missed it, and it definitely lead to him ultimately getting submitted. Fortunately, it doesn’t look like the knee was intentionally aimed for the nuts, I think he was clearly aiming for inner thigh.

Wow, the technical skill is insane. So quick and fluid as he moves from 1 position to another.

This Bo guy is the real deal, he has earned his way into the ranking. I wish him continued success in upcoming fights and, you can't take anything away from his desire to be the best.

Him and his crew sparred at my gym one time, and those guys could not have been nicer to us. They all had cauliflower ears and looked very serious (and scary lol), but they were so so so polite and courteous to us, regular practitioners, they instantly earned my respect! Good luck to Bo Nickal!!!

Honestly, I think most of the trash talk is just him understanding the "hype game". I could be wrong, but I think he only does the trash talk to raise drama/awareness and increase purses. It's a tried and true formula many competitors use.

Bo Nickal is potentially the most awesome fighter I have seen to date... He has it all... mark my words!!

I enjoyed watching Bo wrestle through the years. I love watching wrestler compete in MMA.

Now that i just read your comment, i had to mention this fact. about 10 or11 months back i was in the Penn st. area at a "sheetz gas station" getting gas and notice these real two SHADY cats seriously eyeing and approaching a man (with his back exposed to these tattooed faced fools) putting his little baby in the back seat. I then, very aggressively told those shady tatt wearers to back up and don't even think about it. They immediately backed up and walked away, it was a week later that i realized it WAS Bo putting his baby in the backseat. He had NO CLUE this TRUE event even happened, my point is that i'm SO GLAD i was there at that very moment !! Best wishes to you and yours and stay safe out there.

Both these guys had tatts on there faces and necks and i didnt like the way they were eyeballing and approaching him while his back was turned and there was a baby involved. I did not know it was Bo at that moment, it was only when it was over and he turned around that i recognized him. As a lifelong martial artist myself since 69, i was always taught to practice and have a very keen situational awareness. That attribute HAS saved me and others many times over the decades. Oh hell ya! He's an amazingly gifted and quick competitor. Everyone knows wrestling is the base you want for MMA. 1. Wrestling, 2. Boxing, 3. HEART, 4. BJJ, LOVE IT AND NEVER QUIT!!! Bo is right up there with test p4p wrestlers in the world. Only a handful of people born have that sort of speed, agility, toughness, transitions. He's just a freak of nature....

Very informative little documentary on Bo Nickal. I had heard the name, watched his UFC fights but that was about my knowledge on him. I was initially confused on how he got on the main card of UFC 300 but I am now on the hype train after watching this!

@@warrax111 I'm only responding to you saying 1 fight a year when his 5 fights so far were in One Year and he's 5-0 ! That means nothing because he hasn't really faced anyone but as a fan I'm kind of excited to see how far he can go and maybe I'm pushing it by saying it'll be great but a definitive answer of No before anything has even happened is more bold of a claim than me saying this is going to be great! I'll hold back my enthusiasm and we'll just see how things play out

Because he beat some guy who lost 5 last fights in ufc (even to some fighters that are not UFC caliber at all like Tiululin) and some complete noname who came in on 4 days notice? Yeah, will take all belts from middleweight to heavyweight and then beat AJ in boxing also. Like for real, his opponents in UFC have 0-7 in their last 7 fights in UFC. Sure, UFC is trying to skyrocket and hype Bo but let's wait for him face competition that is _actually_ UFC level and not people who are "just kick this guy out of the promotion" material.

Instead of pairing with another dangerous upcomer in Ikram aliskerov or Bruno, they give him a guy whos lost 3/5 last fights and a guy whos lost 4/5 last fights. Regardless, I think he's going to be in the top 10-15 1-2 years from now

This guy is not just a wrestler, he's a world class wrestler. The drive and perseverance it takes to reach this level is unbelievable. The fact that he's ranked in MMA shouldn't surprise anyone.

Bo is a beast, one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. GO BO GO!!!

This guy is unstoppable. HIs understanding of reading his opponents weaknesses on the fly and reacting simultaneously is actually terrifying. His quickness and relentlessness is literally killer. That guy will break you down until you show respect. Really excited to see more of Bo. Truly a warrior.

Only thing I can say is, you do not broadcast your intentions, you do not bask in glory for victories yet unwon, and you stay humble, authentic, focused, connected, present, and silent as your journey unfolds. That is how a master handles himself.

Part of that was marketing and making sure that he was getting the attention of Dana White. He's not just a fighter. This is his job. And in this line of work, challenging other people explicitly is one way to get more work (i.e., fights). It has been done that way for a long time in different fighting sports. Calling out the next guy you want, etc. Sounds dumb, but that's how they do it. People who watch this are watching people trying to kick the crap out of others. But if they say, "I'm better than you," they get all annoyed like the guy should be humbler. It's weird. haha

Look forward to seeing more from this guy for sure!!

You do a great job of narrating these videos.

It's not his hand, it's his feet. Those are quick movements and generating power from the legs up.

Watching him wrestle in college was something, now here he is rocking the nation again.

Bo is the real deal. Love watching him. Not just that morally he where he needs to be. Stay the course Bo.

He has 5 fights…his opponents so far have been so scared of the takedowns they wind up getting clipped. I do want to see him go up against tougher competition.

I love it that almost no move goes to fast. The precise striking and precise movement is fantastic!

This guy is a fkn beast! Just 2 years in MMA and already one of the best. he's not been truly tested but the talent is undeniable. Bo and khamzat will be Legendary.

Yep. Couldn't get the takedown like he is accustomed to, so, he played dirty with a clearly deliberate nut shot that somehow went unnoticed by all. Dana White privilege will cause selective blindness, as usual. FEED HIM MORE CANS!!!!!

Love Bo... he's gonna be one of the best by time its said and done. I love that he is a man of faith and lives a clean life as well! Great athlete and role model!

He fought a 7-0 guy in his 3rd pro fight. That's not stat-padding. Almost all ufc fighters had easier opponents for their 3rd mma bout. Not even talking about Khabib lol
