Much appreciated. I have a Ram Big Horn so I'm expecting similar results. The only change for me is I'm mounting it on the passenger side for safety reasons, off-traffic side.

Thanks for the video. I just installed mine until I got to the strap, because the directions for that were practically non-existent. I came here to watch you install yours, and this was very helpful. I think there’s one thing that I saw on another video that I might do different from you. He said to (if possible) install the strap so when it’s not in use, the buckle is hanging off of the tailgate instead of laying on the tailgate, so it doesn’t get in the way of stuff sliding into and out of the bed. Think that would be possible? I feel like I need to tell you that your video production quality is truly outstanding! Fabulous work. Thanks again for posting this vid!

Thank you for the kind words! I think the strap they give you is limited on where you can install it. If you search for “slide buckle strap” on Amazon you can find longer sections and maybe even use the supplied hardware just get a longer nylon section to where you could install it on the side of the bed. Good luck, let me know how it comes out!

The lock pin attaches to the bed mount not the ladder as an fyi.

You put the mounting plate on backwards
