RF Young Champs triumphant over Manchester United in landmark final day victory
It was a day to reckon for Indian football as the Reliance Foundation Young Champs overcome one of the biggest forces in world football, Manchester United FC in the final showpiece event of the PL-ISL Next Generation Mumbai Cup here at the Reliance Corporate Park Football Ground in Navi Mumbai today.
Reliance Foundation and FSDL Chairperson Mrs Nita Ambani cheered on from the sidelines as Indian football’s superstars of tomorrow defeated Manchester United Under-14s 1-0 in a celebration of youth football and a coming together of two footballing cultures.
Both the teams began the game at a good tempo, and moved the ball around swiftly in midfield. The Young Champs looked to be more assertive and forced their counterparts from United to lose the possession at times.

They are playing quite well but what i have noticed is that they need to learn how to deal with the goal keeper at close range and heading the ball....👍

He does all that as his basic drills I mean seriously dude not every through ball is world class That one was very basic as he spotted the run of LW guy and kdb throughs are beating a man from dribble then doing a 121 with Bernado Silva Sterling or maharez meanwhile augero gets open and away and they score Dude watch some actual premier league football I know India is evolving but just in a day u have started comparing that kid to a living legend... @@harshal9434 yes that's what am saying, he's not even in substitution. I have one friend he is in national team and under -16 SAFF winner , he used to play for ATK , but ATK released all of them . And one of my friend is National player and he used to play for a from Kolkata , and he was also released . He said that any club of Kolkata will keep only those players who are from Bengal . Yes some might find is Selfish or whatever but i think it's a very good initiative taken by the officials of Kolkata to develop young players of Kolkata .
