Howdy everyone! Unfortunately, a lot of key pricing information has not yet been shared and usually it would be. We don't know the Event Currency pricing for some items, and we don't know the pricing of the new hairstyle - or if it's bundled with the cape pack (I doubt it is). Usually we have 1 donation IAP and 1 non-donation IAP, I think the other cosmetics are not listed in the blog post because they are only going over the Donation IAPs.

@@jerrad123able oh yeah, I was thinking about posting in the group I'm in, on FB. I think more chibi masks would be a nice addition to Sky, a lot of good masks are available to Skykids with various heights and adding more chibi masks would equal it.

I would be so stoked if we just had ONE OUTFIT that went with any of the blue capes. So annoying.

Yes! Fashionista here, to look “cool” in sky, you wear cool-toned clothes. We have a lot of cool-toned capes, but almost no cool-toned outfits. We have Aurora’s green which is cool-toned, but the orange one, the jumpsuit, the cure for me, are all warm-toned.

I think this new dark creature acts similarly to Bobbit Worms which is an ambush predator that stalks it's prey in the ocean floor by burrowing itself.

@@jebes909090 Yes I sulked for a week after that. Plus the map is still permanently showing uncollected lights in Isle and Cresent Oasis areas, (although you check they've been collected). This annoyance isn't on the coming update's bug fixes list

Yes, though you have to be fast. You can perform "deep call" to get its attention. It'll switch target to you but dw you can create distance from it. If you're too late to do the deep call and the creature is near the animation of "yeeting" the skid to the sky, there's nothing you can do to free the player. Just help them collect the WL's they lost if ever they lost some through the attack.

I love that hair. It's reminiscent of the 'witch' hair from halloween. I'm hoping maybe they might use whatever tech they used for it to alter the other hair. The witch hair looks great from the front but then there's a different hairstyle underneath it at the back.

This is such a cool event because of the a lot of the proceeds getting donated to ocean conservation.. the items this year look so amazing! They outdid themselves with the items..

Long live the WORM!!! ❤also yay halfway decent event this time : D the boat was super annoying last year. Hope the event stays in once in a while as a regular shard event

Oh gosh, ngl the worm kinda scares me, and is making me wary of this event. Thank goodness I don't have school anymore so I can focus on it, but YIKES Not looking forward to losing a ton of wing light just for some event currency. While I do like the concert if the creature, and I'm excited to get more dark creatures, doesn't this event seem super unfriendly to new players who could die pretty quickly with that kind of damage? While I like the items, I'm not crazy about them, and wouldn't mind if I have to skip them because of Sky burnout

Later I regretted not getting both so when the event came back around I got the instrument because a friend bought it for me because he knew I wanted it. Also, “noone”? @@wolf-kissedrosie69Yeah, understandable. I was lucky and could afford the Aurora wings, instrument and a few other IAP cosmetics during their initial run, but my friends struggled. I was really happy for them when Encore was announced. But looking at Skys history, Aurora's return was very unusual as far as Sky collabs are concerned. A third return would be very nice, though. And ahahahaha I wasn't paying attention to my grammar, thanks. I'll try to correct myself in the future

This is in the prairie. You can rech it by taking a gondola that is through a cave just past the spiritgate in the first main area of prairie.

Too broke to afford anything but still very excited

1) I have a lot of nostalgia for Sanctuary islands call me old fashioned but I don’t like that days of nature isn’t taking place there this year and I really do want that place updated again 2) I don’t like it when they change an area for an event because 1) it isn’t gets changed back or 2) gets rid of the old look of the area forever that’s why I loved the last days of nature with the ocean trash pile in the middle of the ocean in sanctuary islands or the path of the turtle in sanctuary islands because the area before I don’t consider being anything at all as it was literally barren water only there because the floor literally didn’t exist until they added diving. 3) I bloody hope the event this time won’t ever have a takes 20 minutes and I just barely got that event currency by the rainbow because the rainbow forces you to fly up! 4) what’s the theme this time around? In the past it was deforestation or trash on beach trash in ocean sea life caught in ocean. What’s the theme this time around? I don’t think I understood that. I hope the theme isn’t dam good or dam bad because welp oh no that’s not nearly as black or white as the other ones. 5) it is worrying to me that we don’t have a lot of vital pricing information that we would usually have this close to the event

It's from Days of Style (October 2, 2023 - October 15, 2023). It's called the "Style Runway Makeup Mask" and was purchasable with event currency alongside the "Style Top Hat", "Style Star Sunglasses" and "Style Silk Ballerina Shoes".

The environment that sky has fostered is such bullshit. If u wish to have ANYTHING good/cool looking you have to pay real money and its super fucking expensive. The cape and other items listed on their event page make sense because they are charity items, with around 50% of the proceeds going to the charities. However for the others I don't see why they need to be that expensive either. if 30% goes to the platforms and 20% goes to development then that's still 50% just there for other stuff. Sure we aren't in their shoes so we're probably missing a piece of the story, but it shouldn't justify having something unaffordable (or not worth the money) for most people.

I know plenty of people who havent spent a dime that are enjoying the game. Plenty of good items are in the base game. You don't need to buy anything. No one is going to buy something that looks bad as well. For any sort of dlc or extra content.
