I don't even think jks would want to go back now, at least not after hearing about how they ghosted him for like a month before benching him. They massively disrespected him. Not only did they take his performance for granted, but he still had huge potential to get even better at the game. I would love to see jks playing on a tier 1 team again, but at the same time, if they offered him a place back in G2 and he just responded with a 'Fuck off', I would understand and the org would deserve it lol.

@@vk-tl1bc Fair enough, I thought I remember hearing it was longer than that, so that's my bad. I still support G2 when I'm watching events, mostly for M0nesy and Hooxi because I like them both a lot. As an upside down land man myself, it just felt like such a shitty move to get rid of a really good anchor, who was Australia's golden boy, for a player that wasn't nearly as proficient in the same role. I think that's what frustrates me the most, and I can't speak for him, but it wouldn't surprise me if jks was turned off ever playing for them again after that.

CasiaN is a systems oriented guy. That's what makes him a good awper. When you awp/IGL you can call around your awp, and pull the CTs towards you and attack rotations. If you don't have teammates buying into your system and doing your calls, then it's hard to create that mental image of the map and attack rotations and punish info peeks. Twistzz wants to play with some flashy awper like broky who runs around shooting people because he's good at shooting people. CadiaN isn't a mechanics awper, he is a systems awper. I can 100% guarantee that CadiaNs performance in accuracy, hitting hard shots and clutching will increase 200% when he is on a team that trusts him 100% and he can start hitting that flow state.

@@grapLee his point is that Cadian isn't able to set himself up the way he needs to be a successful Awper because his teammates won't allow him to set up the way he needs. Think of it this way, Jame wouldn't have won the Rio major and been MVP if Flit and Fame didn't allow Jame to organize the team exactly how he wanted. Everyone knows Cadian was a good Awper and IGL last year and it's very unlikely that he's just fallen off a cliff purely on his own accord in both categories. Very little teams care as little about their IGL role and it shows in their (Liquid) performance over the past few years

i felt so happy seeing complexity lift that trophy in jonkoping, but it’s also saddening in a way. COL has pretty much shown their ceiling (occasional deep runs/small trophy wins) and floor (last place in events after bombing out) elige won’t be *this* good forever, and the core of him, hallzerk and JT is genuinely good and fun to root for. but that trophy win also means that they won’t replace floppy with someone else. jks would be absolutely fucking mental, but if they want to have a full NA core, jBa is a promising anchor that could very well replace floppy. but it’s in such a weird state rn where they refuse to buy out big names to get deeper in tourneys more consistently, but they also don’t want to gamble in developing the few promising NA talents elige is still in his prime after all these years yet he’s stuck in a mid limbo team refusing to make any changes😿

This is actually the first season of counter strike I’ve actually followed, I usually watch Rocket League esports but CS is what I watch when it’s not on (which is most of the time). First event I watched was the Paris Major. My main takeaway is, I’m really excited for the new Blast formats that are coming up. I’ve really been enjoying this race between Donk, Zywoo and Monesy for HLTV #1. The dynamic between top teams is really cool cause you’ve got main candidates like Navi, Faze, Spirit, Mouz and Vitality. But there’s this close chasing pack with G2, Liquid, VP, Complexity, EF, Astralis and Mongolz. It just feels a lot more interesting than there’s one immortal top team and everyone trying to hunt them down.

Monesy, Niko, Hunter is such an amazing core of a team. I CANNOT understand how the org seems incapable of putting together a complete team for them to play with. They are on paper probably the most mechanically skilled team in the world.

Loved the choking video! Big fan of that style of narrative content, but I understand it can be hard to produce in a limited bubble like CS. Been following the scene since middle school, now graduated college, and I can honestly say this season was one of the best to watch from a viewer perspective - multiple teams winning trophies, great story lines, and incredible production value (bar the observer incident). Thanks for all the passion you and the other casters, hosts, observers, players and more put into the scene.

My favourite part of this first season is that I think casting has been better than ever. It's been on the up and up for the last 4-5 years, but this is the best ever because I feel like everyone is so excited, and the games themselves are more exciting in a long time.

I’m curious what would happen with some role changes for mezzi. One of the issues I have with vitality is the “star roles” are in apex’s hands. Yes he’s an aggro player but he doesn’t put up the 1.3hltvs that you expect from that role that you get with every other top tier team. Frozen, NiKo, donk all put amazing numbers on these roles whereas apex just barely does better than Mezzi on dog roles. I get apex probably sucks on anchor but genuinely would probably work better having spinx / Mezzi in star roles and having apex in dog roles - they also need to fix apex mentality. This is probably something with XTQZZZ but he really needs to calm apex down because vitality are just starting to choke easy games. 5-11 up against vp and they choke it into 13-11 loss. Against spirit at blast they always had the lead (pretty sure they won both pistols on some of the maps), and then they lose 2-3 rounds which spirals into a huge streak for spirit and then they lose the series in such a sad way. Every round getting out called, faked out etc.

I personally belive and i think YNK or spunj said it that the players on Vit don't make any decision about their own game in those high impact places so apex basically has to play them bc only him and Zywoo know what to do. And i think that's actually true if you watch the games

Pimp made a video about the benching of Cadian and he suggested Gla1ve could go to Liquid. This is a good idea but what if; Gla1ve goes to G2: is Niko ready to igl and does he want to? Personally I think Gla1ve in Liquid sounds like a beter option. Cadian likes to micromanage if I am right so he can't fit in G2 also.

This is definitely the most chaotic season of CS I've seen and it just makes me excited that finally the major will be the season's last event. Imagine how interesting it would've been to go into the most important event after all these different winners instead of knowing the true S-tier tournament was long gone by March. Shanghai is gonna be insane and 2025 will be even crazier, I couldn't be more excited

I first started watching CS for the Katowice final 2023 where Heroic lost to G2. I have not once in my life played CS, I just decided to join my boyfriend to watch some games and for some reason I was hooked from that one game. If I remember correctly CadiaN head a really good game, some clutches, some shouting and banter which I found really odd at the beginning. But the loser interview with him completely turned it around for me, he genuinely seemed like a nice person. I kind of adopted Heroic as my favorite team back then and we all know how the story unfolded after that. I would have loved to see CadiaN succeed in Liquid, and same for G2 with NiKo and m0nesy they seem like they should be doing better than they are. Long story short I am now way to deep into CS storylines, listen to all the podcasts and follow the gossip so thanks for that I guess lol. Who needs telenovelas if you can just watch CS... keep it up launders 🔥

I think the biggest contibuter to why hunter couldnt play anchor is because everybody has (albeit, for good reason) succumbed to the group think notion that he could not play anchor. Hes a talented player, let him try. Especially considering theyre staring down the barrel of a roster move that likely wont pan out for the reasons you stated.

iM is one failed tournament run from getting benched, unfortunately. But if this happens then hear me out. What if, at that point, S1mple comes back and replaces iM as a rifler/lurker? Dust II CT-side double AWP with S1mple and w0nderful... The Master and the Apprentice. On the other hand, I feel like this map pool favors NAVI and I believe they'll bounce back. Switch Vertigo to Train and NAVI will be a beast with AleksiB's ENCE background T-sides.

i personally think that cadians personal performance also played a big part in him getting benched could be the pressure of getting the system to work impacting his performance but it was literally twistzz and sometimes naf dragging them acorss maps where cadian literally missed sitters even tier 2 open qualifiers he wouldn't flex with the awp because he couldn't i also watched them getting decimated by m80 fir open qualifiers of esports world cup and that was the match where twistzz wasn't having a super good game you just cant win with 3 players who are playing sub par and clearly not playing tier 1 cs and watching skullz feels so shaky he cant ever hit that timing like you said which makes great anchors i think this project is done naf should go to col and twistzz should look into the offer from vitality
