I've only ever seen recordings of Jeremy Jordan's Santa Fe Its interesting to see how different people do it. Jeremy Jordan's og will probably always be my favorite tho. I feel like this version was more angry the whole way through, while Jeremy's mellows out to sadness then throbbing pain at the end. This feels more empowering, while the og might be more a cry for help and raw-er emotionally. Ah well, just my take, both guys are great singers

my god i love dan !!! he played emmett in the lexington theatre company’s legally blonde in july 2017 and i saw him and he was amazing and i was there at their concert with the stars when he helped them announce them doing newsies this summer !!! he was a part of the show so he helped with the announcement too !!! i auditioned and i hope they bring him back to play jack !!!!

Definitely not. They were all miked, and some of the lines were sung by different guys than in the actual production, because not all of them were there. I saw that touring cast, and the girl who played Sara always sounded just a little like Kara Lindsey.

They had mic if you notice at the beginning the guy singing has his mic turned off and was turned on at the middle of his line

The audience thought they were just attending a movie screening of the Newsies film, and then the live actors showed up to perform.

Ben Cook wasn't in the Broadway cast, he was in the movie because he was apart of one of the touring casts.
