Love what Roxon has been doing lately

Definitely! They are really becoming a company to watch!
SOG’s biggest advantage is the bit driver built into the pliers hinge.
It's great to see a small multi at a great price point. This opens the convenience to more folks. The tool set will likely draw scrutiny, but my wife would appreciate the clippers. She also tends to misplace stuff, which makes the price point even more attractive.

Good points!
Wow this is really the perfect toolset for winter backpacking or ski touring
Congratulations Roxon. 👏 I just miss the pocket clip.
Wow Roxon really took it to a new level this year

Great to see another capable set of pliers in a small form factor (besides the SOG p-pint)

Nice!
Looks like SOG would have to welcome a long lost cousin on to the platform. Sufficient beginners carry while learning before going for the high end cousins. The competition would be stepped up if Roxon replace the nail clipper with additional functional tools including a pocket clip & a better sheath that can hold additional extras. We would replace the nail file with a level finder though. Cheers mate from Australia.

Great idea!!
Honestly the k2 Elite Scissors are the best.. it looks like a great tool. Made the K2 my EDC
Finger nail clipper seems like a weird choice- would've perferred having a 1/4" bit driver on board

1/4" driver or a better scissor, both would be better than a fingernail clipper.
Looks decent but not having a pocket clip is going to hurt it especially for it's size.
This could be an amazing tsa okay travel edc if you can take out the blade

Interesting!!!
Fingers crossed for a pocket clip and a built in bit driver

I'd rather have a larger, more functional set of scissors than a fingernail clipper. If it had a decent set of scissors, I'd buy it, but having 2 PowerPints, presently, there's no need or want for this current version of the M1.

I am looking forward to the release of their Roxon S804 flex which I believe is coming soon.

That will be really amazing, if it's as good as it looks!
Why couldnt they add a pocket clip, is there a pocket clip you recommend to add? This looks perfect except for the lack of pocket clip.

Exactly!
I think multitools really are a very personal thing. I disagree with most things on this video, but it's MY pov. Tweezers and - mostly - fingernail cutters are totally 3rd/4th priority. IMO, Roxon does oversized tools with irrelevant features; SOG Powerpint remains untouched.
I bought the roxon phantom a few months ago and been disappointed. Problems I noticed were alot of play in the joints, the phillips screwdriver burred the first time it was used, the extra bits roxon supplied can't be used, dont fit into supplied adapter and the scissors stick closed sometimes. Contacted roxon support but never got a response. Would never buy another roxon.
I like that Roxon is trying. But I just don't like what they are doing. But those are again some... really weird tool choices: The nailclipper... In that space they could have folded a real file and a real saw into. The Philips looks kinda bad and that the adapter from Leatherman fits is nice, but surely not on purpose or a design idea by Roxon. The scissors look pretty awful, the sim card ejector... just why? If you want to add something to eject a sim card, add a space for a pin or a needle somewhere. Has a lot more uses. If you are scared that the pointy tip might damage the phone, you just cut it off with your pliers and add a new pin into it later. Pins cost like 0.02 cents a piece. The flathead you already mentioned looks awfully brittle, the microscrewdriver... nice, but make it detachable? Same as the tweezers. Please try and remove a splinter from your finger with your non-dominant hand with those micro tweezers and 130g of multitool dangling around at the back. It just.... doesn't seem very viable. The pliers... please compare their length from the axle to the tips. There is of course also positive: The deployment system and locking seems way better and easier than on the Powerpint, where it frankly... locks well but is really cumbersome. The blade seems bigger and better shaped than both blades on the Powerpint. But I really love that they are trying to evolve multitool designs and I think they are on a good way.
You mentioned a Leatherman 1/4” adapter. I may have misunderstood you. I cannot locate such an item. Where can we buy one?

www.leatherman.com/removable-bit-driver-931012.html Hope this helps.
I like the size, Mr. Kincaid. The fingernail clippers turned me off, unfortunately. I would have rather seen more implements like a can opener, I'm a sucker for a can opener, lol. That's okay though. Multitools offer a little something for different people with different needs. Just because I wouldn't buy it doesn't mean I can't appreciate it. That's what makes multitools fun and interesting.

Definitely! I personally lone bit drivers. Hope to see even a 4mm integrated one on this some day.
For me the selling point on this tool is the nail clippers. I think it would be a great throw in your sling bag or in your pocket carry. It is a good companion to your leatherman surge which is what i carry.
😮without a pocket clip, it's an instance fail. To small for a sheath. To large to have it dangling loosely in front pocket.
How would you rank this compared to the M2 and KS2?
@hvacbudget8600

I personally find it more useful due to the plier design.
👍🏼
seems like the knife locks?
@hvacbudget8600

The knife does, and the larger tools. Just the micro tools don't.
SIM card ejector not an SD card ejector!
SOG wins out in my book. I have one but the bit driver is garbage and is not magnetic on my version.
Put a toothpick and a fire steel on it and it’s sold
It's not going to beat the torque tension that's the only thing it won't be😢
And those fingernail clippers took up all kinds of real estate in that little handle oops😢
Roxon has done some great things, but this isn’t one of them. They totally missed the mark. They do a great job of incorporating beefy scissors into their tools and they should have done that instead of the nail clippers. Plus, no pocket clip????
watch other video;s, the screw driver is so soft it stripped...... chinaade
Nail clippers? Don't reinvent the wheel! They only have to make a multitool with similar tools as the Powerpint (pliers, blade, scissors, file, bit driver...) but with better quality.
I'll take the power paint hands down😊
It's totally bizarre 😂
Am i missing something, or are most the tools on this useless. Literally the only worthwhile implements are the pliers, knife, and 2D Phillips. Everything else was either a random inclusion or poorly executed.
Roxon must be having quality control issues. I bought one and when I received it the plier pivot was so loose I had to tighten it so it wouldn't fall apart. I had to force the nail clippers out. Also, the first time I used the nail file on the outside of the tool it fell off. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

That's unfortunate, did you try to send it back?
nope.👎, sog powerpint/powerlitre is by far superior...
Time to move to metric America! Go metric!
Sucks.
I can live without your fingernail cutters😢
