Each girl's delusion is a product of the idol pressures and fan expectations. As idols must be what fans want them to be, act the way fans want them to act, sing on demand etc, Hanni thinks she is an iPhone who fulfills its owner's wishes at a press of a button. Haerin is told she has a cat-like eyes and face, is called a cat so much that she starts thinking she is one, trading the complexities of human existence for the simpler animal innocence. (Compare with Ditto, where she says basically "Kang Kitty? What do you mean? I am human!") As an extreme introvert, she is perfectly happy not having to talk, and just happily munching on the kitty snack. Maknae is such a stereotype role, with such strong expectations on personality and behaviour, that Hyein, the youngest, starts having a princess complex, identifying with all the princesses in fairy tales. Minji, as the eldest and the leader, is expected to help everyone, guide everyone, advise everyone, take care of everyone, always know what to do and be the adult in the room, even if she is just 18, so she starts thinking she is a doctor. And poor Danielle actually still has her hold on reality, with her knowledge that she is in fact an idol, but with signs her confidence is in danger ("Aren't we?"). This whole album is amazing; musically, of course, but also conceptually. As Ditto was about how an idol group might influence a fan's life, OMG is how fans influence the life of idols. Two sides of the same coin.

more than existentialism it’s about idols having identity crisis bc of the inner conflict of performing the image fans and the public think of and push on them and who they really are
