i have a 14 year old newfie, female, tara... We live in suburbs and she is always unleashed and everywhere... all my neighbours have dogs released also so it is viable and nice... Some people are funny though.. They fear dogs, they see an unleashed dog and start talking to him/her.. off course she will come fast to check her friend... a bit unpleasant because they fear... she never bit anyone and she gets along with all dogs ...
