The one thing i really appreciate about this coach is the dash. i HATE unnecessarily complex dashes. I want to see the bare minimum of info needed to operate the vehicle when i drive. The screen can give you anything that NEEDS your attention when you need to see it. Technology can make this simple and elegant while still keeping track of everything. air pressure, oil and water temp, speedo and tach is all i want to see. The same thing is also true for over the road trucks. i do not want 30 manual dials to look at! not for a 2 million dollar vehicle choc full of technology.

Andrew... Great videos, always informative. I am a loyal follower of your channel. I love your approach to cover it all. Iam from America, but last 12 years have lived and worked in Switzerland. I'm moving back to America next year. We have decided to but a RV. We have been considering a Newmar King Aire. Now I'm interested in the Newell. I went to their website, went all throughout the site. Two weeks ago I filled out the contact form for them. As of yet, no response. I called and was told sometime get back to me later in the day. Our time difference is great and not sure someone called back. Ask them if they follow up with their contact forms. I really would like to make contact.

All real leather is an animal skin Andrew. There is no leather out there that was grown in a garden, it all came from a living, breathing animal. The embossment is just a pattern that is pressed into the leather under pressure to make it look higher end than just a plain flat animal skin. The animal skins are also dyed hundreds of colors to give it a different look than just the typical brown and tan animal skin but the main reason for dying a skin is to give a uniform look to multiple skins that would otherwise never match another. The only way to get a non animal skin “leather” is to use a “pleather” which is a man made leather but is just a fancy vinyl.

Well, I can tell you that their markup on a steam shower is approximately 5 to 6 times the cost to install one so if that gives you any indication but I’ll tell ya most of us don’t make anywhere close to what their profit is over a few years. I could not believe the cost of the steam shower when he said 25k-30k!!!!! That is absolutely asinine!! I can understand making a profit but that is just ripping folks off because you’ve got a good name in the industry and you know the customer has the money!!! That’s why we are seeing coaches priced at $2-$3 million now!

    3 жыл бұрын

@@tonylevine2716 hey Tony! Yeah, it’s pretty crazy what they get away with but as long as folks keep paying their prices then their isn’t much we can do buddy! I’ve installed at least a hundred of the steam showers. It’s an extremely simple install. The only difference required in the actual shower stall itself is that you want your ceramic tile or whatever your using to go to the ceiling and also cover the ceiling or have some type of material on the ceiling that will not be damaged by moisture. If you have any glass walls, then those must go to the ceiling also. You are only raising the glass and or ceramic an additional 2 feet at most and in an RV your probly only looking at 12”-18” inches max so that extra material is not going to really cost too much. You need one 1/2” cold water line and one electrical line installed where the steam generator will be installed. Again, not a big investment. The steam generator is the main cost and when I was installing them I was getting them delivered to the shop for $1,200 complete. So it’s been a few years now since I installed one and I’m sure prices have gone up, so, let’s say they are at the high end $2,000 now, so in total that’s still less than $5k total and that’s on the high end and they are saying at least $25-$30k? I don’t care who you are, that’s just excessive Mark-up for anyone!! Hope this gives you an idea and helps Tony !! Take care buddy and good luck in the future!
