Newcastle Set for HUGE Transfer Spree ANDERSON & MINTEH SOLD
Спорт
Newcastle United have gotten ahead of the PSR game ahead of the summer transfer window by selling fringe players Elliot Anderson to Nottingham Forrest & Yankuba Minteh to Brighton & Hove Albion. This should help them retain the services of Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes & Alexander Isak who have been subject to many transfer rumours & speculation. In this video I assess the moves that have been made and look at where Edie Howe's Newcastle United NEED to reinforce ahead of a pivotla 24/25 Premier League season

Mbeumo has to come in, can cover in the centre if needs be . Fast powerful goal scorer

He’s the obvious choice, he’s a beast, watched his highlight reels and wow!

He would be a quality addition

He keeps getting mentioned but is he actually for sale? I wonder what he would cost
I’m not a Newcastle supporter nor am I saying they shouldn’t sign a starting RW but I don’t think Murphy got enough credit for how well he did when he played at the end of the season. Interesting to see how much money EPL teams can spend this summer with all the furore over PSR. Love the content mate

Murphy will stay as back up but he's not good enough to start every week

More money than ever will be spent with clubs selling each other players that would otherwise go on loan or be sold below market value to get them off of books. Silly PSR/FFP rules need to go.

Murphy's far too inconsistent to be our first choice right winger. Hes got a great character, and always works hard, and has scored a couple of good goals.
Anderson is a very good player, will certainly be an asset for Forrest, the Toon will make 2 big signings this summer + a couple of squad players, RW and keeper will be big signings then cover for CB ,FWD and holding midfielder, if it all works out we’re definitely top 6+ by the end of the season, nice informative video btw 👍
I think a CB and RW are key with Almiron leaving we need to upgrade that floor and i think Mbuemo is underrated and can also play CF. Dean Huijsen and Malick Thiaw are the right model of player we need at the back, young and ready to play but still have abikity to refine
I fancy Newcastle are going to make bog changes this window. Several first team squad players have left with a few more touted to leave. You don't let that many leave unless you've money available. My pick would be Neto, he's got everything we need for RW plus his dribbling can unlock low blocks which takes our attack up a notch.

Very good player ,but terrible injury record,my choice would be Bryan Mbeumo, never injured.
Joe Willock is a more refined Anderson and Willock missed nearly all season
Love your videos. My dream signing for the right wing is Kubo. Think he has a £50 million release clause. Midfield of Bruno, Tonali and Joelinton and front three of Gordon, Isak and Kubo would be up there with any in Europe…

I had Take & Olmo on my notes as well as chiesa but I couldn't bring myself to say "without UCL ..." One more time 😅🫣

Kubo would be brilliant.
That's big money for those 2 guys. Very good business for Newcastle. £30m and £35m buys a lot more than them elsewhere if used properly. Not sure how Forrest can spend that but good luck to all parties.
Newcastle will spend well and big again! PSR will be an issue but they are also on a meteoric rise with revenue increases.
Pope is a brilliant keeper, he’s loved up here in Newcastle, the only issue is a few of the same injuries have started to happen to him, he would be my number 1 GK at least for the next 2 years, the bloke is brilliant and a huge character in the dressing room.
Good video. Love it. Keep up with it for other prem clubs

Thanks! Will do! Glad you enjoy it!!
I’d go and get Mbuemo from Brentford and Newcastle will get top 4 with any luck! Karim Konate is another, 20 goals in 29 games last season for RB Salzburg. Yaser Asprilla from Watford is another I’d love to see at Newcastle (just for the name alone😂) - he’s an absolute baller!
Keeper is the position that's worrying me the most with Pope having 2 dislocated shoulder injuries, it's a 50% increase of re injury.. If we're dropping big on a keeper Dioga Costa, I like Mama a lot but I'm getting a weird feeling watching him in Euros. Malik Thiaw is the name being rumoured for RCB, kid is electric, beat Gordon in a race a few times. Pace is something we really lack on in defence. We were heavily linked with Ederson of Atalanta in Jan but didn't bid. We do have Alfie Harrison who'll be pushing for game time next year. We need a left footed, Chiesa is right footed even though he plays with both, doesn't fit our transfer policy though. We talked to Olise but he chose Bayern, Mbeumo has also been linked Neto would be my pick, has everything, just needs a good rum without injury.

yeah very fair i guess i overlooked the recurring injury element of all this, great contribution thanks very much!!
Exciting times can see some top quality player’s coming in. Cant wait to see the line up first game of the season. Sandro coming back into the squad is massive for us. HWTL
We’ve really fcuked up with Marmadashvili at £35 million. All great teams have a world class goalkeeper. I’d also buy Ederson for £45 million and play 4-3-1-2, Bruno being the 1.
