@@hedrbohlega2595 he’s unintentionally a troll character. You can block people in rooms, you can bait a fight and then just dip with his ult, his entire kit is a lot of fun to play.

Fax I also think a legend simply being effective at their role while not being broken makes them fun which he definitely is.

Important tip for Newcastle mains: don’t ask for a gold knockdown Shield every time. A purple knockdown shield has as much health as a gold one, so give it to the noobiest member of your squad if you don’t need it.

I’d like to see a closet filled with all his legend imitations. Maybe one day he’ll put all them on at once. Newcastle’s helmet with Valkyries jetpack and fuses arm.

current bug that you can capitalize on, his ult has infinite range when targeting a dead teammates banner. Make sure that the banner is more than 200 meters away since that is the hard coded limit of the ult and will let you keep 75% of your ult while moving you towards the banner

About giving Newcastle the best knockdown shield don’t give him the gold knockdown shield, if enemy’s see a gold shield on Newcastle they will target the Newcastle first and attack him the hardest

The "Hey,i'll catch you later ya noob" should be the new voice line its so good lol

He’s also pretty well balanced. Any movement tool can easily counter his kit, which also gives a much needed buff to movement based characters

@@Cardboard_Ukulele yeah but the "much needed buff" part still doesn't make sense. Literally all movement based legends are at the top of the tier lists and are always the most popular. Pathfinder is an exception because his ultimate got a bit outdated compared to other movement characters now and he still doesn't have a real passive.

Fun fact when the knockdown shield needs to recharge after reviving your teammate with Newcastle just drop the knockdown and pick it back up again it's a really good cheese that I recommend to do

False, it doesn't update visually iirc, if you hover over it should show 100% in your inventory

u forgot that his ult shield actually does damage and stun enemies when they touches it. it last for 30 second after the wall is placed.

Newcastle is surprisingly balanced with what his kit is right now and I like it

im not the best at apex legends but your videos help me learn how to play a character I want to try. I watched your catalyst video earlier and I got some good info :) you really make learning this game fun and make it not seem to competitive unlike other KZreadrs I tried to learn from. I love all of your videos and have been a fan for years (3 I believe) and you helped me learn mostly every game I play lol. currently noobcastle is really broken, since you can put every item on his tactical : revenant totem, horizen lift , caustic traps , arc stars, and you can push them through the doors as well. i gotta say , thats ALOT of fun to play with

I love playing as the support player so I’ve been using him a lot. Just difficult when your teammates are blood thirsty leaving you behind while you’re still trying to loot for good weapons so you can’t really be there to support them.

newcastle is literally the best legend on release since horizon, but doesnt need to be nerfed because hes balanced, hes just really good with the current meta

You can also attach caustic traps and Gibby bubble to the shield so one would suspect that jump pad will go on it too as well as horizon ultimate

Legend says that if you take off Newcastle’s helmet, he reveals himself as the true Gigachad

I swear if they buff or nerf him I will flip out he's perfectly balanced

If you mark to move Newcastle tactical in 90 degree in the back of Newcastle tactical(or mark it to go back for simplicity) it wont turn its direction on less your past tthe shields drone and the ult stays electrifying for 30 sec but the walls stays forever as long its not destroyed

I like to still have the mobile deployable shield up even when getting a Rez as Newcastle, either give an extra shield to take damage when in a fight I can move around, or one to cover my back while reviving to give as much cover as possible. Personally I think his shield should move just a bit faster when you command it to move around for some of those pushes through doorways when an enemy team is outside pre aiming the door waiting for you to come put there.
