Newborough Forest - Anglesey

On our way to Llanddwyn island we walk through Newborough Forest which was created in 1947 to stabilise the shifting sand dunes on the west coast of the island.
The dogs loved a play on the beach although Nab wasn't too keen on getting his feet wet!

Thankyou. He has a reputation for wearing shorts. He even wears them to work all through the year. We were at a colleagues 40th birthday party last night and all his colleagues were shocked to see him wearing trousers (no underwear though) lol
Thanks guys, great video. I was born here, there's no other place quite like it, also my Grandfather, Hugh Roberts, planted the first tree here back in the day. 😊

First off, me being me, I did catch that wee brag about Keith's "thumb" size. Very cute. 😊 Secondly, Daryl, scrambling down damp rock is not altogether easy. I struggle scrambling up and down boulders as well. They can be ever so awkward to navigate. Fun video as always. Nicole and I are doing well. Hope you both are doing well also?! We do like to get an innuendo in.😁 I've always been wary scrambling on wet rocks from a very early age after a fall. Glad you are both ok. All good here. Home this weekend bit away for the next two as Keith is playing rugby 🏉

It did smell of pine but not of sea salt. It is an amazing place,to have planted it ro prevent erosion of the dunes.
