Newborn wildebeest reuinted with mother - uplifting!
On a recent safari to the Serengeti plains, we witnessed a wildebeest birth! the mother wondered off to graze soon after, leaving the calf to wonder off in the wrong direction. The newborn soon confused a tree for its mother, trying even to 'suckle' the tree!......luckily, it then took our car as its mother and followed us back to the herd....soon reunited, this one had a happy ending......(www.wildlandsafaris.com)

I congratulate you for guiding the newborn to his mother. I'm glad to hear it.
Thank you so much for you guys leading the calf back to its mom and herds. Without you guys the poor little calf would’ve been hunted and killed already. For saving it’s life, you guys will always have good karma and you will be save too when you guys needed the most.
Some mother! Doesn't even follow her baby and lead him back.

Similarly to domestic cattle, a calf can't stand and run immediately after it's birth it can take days ,in wild a new baby born has no choice otherwise it will be torn apart by wild animals

Because wildebeest are herding animals and are always on the move, if a baby can’t keep up with the herd it will die. Human babies don’t need to “keep up with a herd” so they don’t need to walk & run as soon as they’re born

Ó meu Deus, que criou todas as coisas,! Que vida difícil é a vida selvagem, as mães gnus sofre muito para ganharam seus filhotes, e depois correr muito para sobreviver.
