These are Mommy and her newborn kittens on their first day after birth.
Mommy is a stray cat who was sometimes coming for food in our home, but one day she came to give birth in our home :)
We accepted her and her kittens, and we will make sure to find homes for the kittens and get Mommy neutered.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray animals is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. What a classy mom. All of a sudden she has all these demanding little things mewoing around her and she's just lying there, pristine and beautiful, accepting her due in pats and scratching. Life goes on. How sweet.

Aaaawww 💞 this is so heartwarming. This mom is so lucky. She is safe, clean and warm and doesn't have to hunt. She is cared for and loved and is allowed to keep her babies and raise them in safety. 💞. How many mummy's aren't that lucky? How many mummy's are not allowed to be with their babies? How many mummy's have to suffer... 😢 Thank you for your big heart...
Such a heart warming scene, I loved the one where they were all laying on her tummy and she had this look of catly bliss. Thank you to the both of you for not turning her away in her hour of need. My hat is off to you!

I know newborn kittens hiss at a strange smell. If it doesn't smell like Mama, HISS! The cutest hissing I ever saw was from a live feed from a kitten rescue. This little tuxedo boy was sound asleep, when he suddenly sneezed. He looked up, no one was around, then hissed several times, and then went back to sleep, having told that nasty sneeze who was boss!

Reminds me of when our cats had kittens. One cat kept them under my brother's bed for three weeks. After that the mother, two kittens from a previous litter and all six new kittens would not leave my bed. Cats and kittens rule.

Newborn kittens can always hiss. It's important to weigh them at least once daily to make sure they are getting enough nourishment from mom and that you don't have to supplement with bottle feeding. Peepers (eyes) will come between 4 and 10 days old. Mama cat is a sweetheart.
