Our dog took 3 or 4 days to notice we had a baby and then a few weeks to warm up. Now 2.5 years later they are the best of buds. It's an amazing relationship to watch grow. I love how close they are now.

You can get a couple covers and a pack of prefolds pretty cheap! I love Green Mountain Prefolds!

I love how bryan ALWAYS puts his left hand up to his face when he is in a dilemma... or when he is confused, or sad or reacting... i can almost predict when he is gpnna do it and when he starts to say "oh my gosh you guys" I say out loud, there goes the hand!... and i'm by myself. its all quiet and I randomly shout " there goes the hand" and my newborn jumps!

the peeing bit doesn't stop, the trick is to either leave the old nappy on till just as your about to change it or put the new one on underneath, quickly take the old one off and pull the new one up over his bits. Another alternative is to put a wipe over his bits! Ahh the joys of parenthood!

When you change Ollie don't take the diaper completely off and make sure his thing is pointing down or at least it is covered by a part of his diaper so when you put a new one on he doesn't pee everywhere lol. You guys are like naturals, I've never seen newborn parents so prepared and handling a new baby so well :) .

Could you get some more newborn prefolds to tide you over? They are cheap and would extend your NB stash a little to save you doing laundry so much.

Oh, don't worry about baby growing up. I have this theory that there is a parent room in heaven, and you can go in there and be with your child at whatever age you pick that visit, so you can rock and cuddle to your heart's content! I just figure those times with your kids are so precious, that God wants us to be able to hold on to that!

Oh he is so sweet. He makes me incredibly clucky!
