A little tip for your next off road adventure if the terrain gets tricky (steep hill, whasouts, deep ruts or big opstacles) use 4L first gear or second gear depens on the speed you want to drive. Everything will be sooo much easier and controllable :) In 4L the car will move crazy slow but will crawl tricky terrain easier and in many cases just with clutch out and no gas. Your car is extremly capable be confident use the tricks your car has from factory 4L is the way to go if you need to do things slowly. Keep in mind in 4L the Gas pedal will be very snappy because of the gearing in 4L. By the way nice Land Cruiser best regards from a fellow LC driver :)

Nice addition to your camper truck. Very neat. Remember to tie down and make a tiled adjustment if gusty winds and rain expected. Seen a few damaged awnings due to sudden onset and change of weather. looking forward for more ASMR camping adventures from you.

You need a bit more traction to tackle that terrain, try getting a defensive driving course(that's what it's call), it's a must for 4wd owners. This channel deserves more subs... I wish you get 50k to 100k by the end of this year 2024. Cheers.

Congratulations on the new cross bars and awning. Though it if it was me, I would have positioned the cross bars much further apart. This will provide a more stable support for the awning. Just like a person standing with a slightly wider stance will have better stability than someone with both feet together.

@@treebud139 I have a RTT on my 80 Series Land Cruiser. So I'm all for it. Just keep an eye on the weight of the RTT. If yoiu have a choice, pick a lighter one.

Newbie or not, if you're not confident tackling a track, best not to do it. So a wise decision on your part. And once you get more confidence going off-road, you'll look back at this moment and laugh at how nervous you were. 😁 👍
