Western newbie-guides be like: "Make a lot of workers and try to spend all your money." Korean newbie-guide be like: "And at 68 supply you build 2 Starports and place your marines between the enemies' main and 3rd so they can't send drones there and feel pressured to make more units."

Wow this build is so involved. It is hard for me to imagine being able to keep all of this straight in my head trying to play as fast as the pros do.

@@Slechy_Lesh that is not true. only a few at the beginning complained that it was too simple (because he was intentionally not doing things he would do otherwise, and was playing against a lower level opponent). most of the complaints were that the guide was only for if you were already high level 'gosu' player and not for noobs. that is why he kept saying not to complain but to rewatch over and over, that starcraft is a game you must study, etc., etc.

The only thing that i "disliked" was the comments flash was making. "Its ok if you leave, its not like im charging you for this", I understand that he might get annoyed when people start complaining about him going fast on the explanations, he is like the CR7 or messi of starcraft, but not everything is about money. In the end im more than gratefull that he took the time to teach some newbies and thanks jinjinn for translating this! hope everything is going great in college!

I mean even in episode 1 Flash said it himself when his APM was getting up to 250 "It's not like that APM is really even doing that much" ~200 APM is all you need for foreign pro play I'm sure. EDIT: lmao he even says it here, not much difference from 150 apm to 250 apm. It's probably useful to have 400 APM when you're nearly perfect at the game and can't possibly find other ways to improve, at least.

My thought process behind doing detailed translation was to not miss out on flash's tips and explanations. Also did it so it feels more interactive and human i guess. It's a lot of info dump but Ala lot of help

I liked the thoroughness! Super helpful. T v Z is the matchup I know least, and this really explains it well. Its ironic because the first campaign missions of Starcraft is all T v Z stuff but I don't know shit.

Without the thorough translations it just looks like "oh hes playing the game" but with them on you understand the strategy and mindset behind the plays

Also I think the issue is that he is speaking a ton and dishing out a bunch of info so there isn't really a way to make it concise per say.
