Thanks Rick for the update. Half inch lag screws should hold it.✅🤣🤣🤣🤣👍

LOL. It is only in there with one GRK 3 inches currently. Holding fast so far. I'll be sure to take a picture if it falls. :). :).
Some years ago I bought a pedestal mounted 25½ inch 2-bladed scimitar propeller type fan with 3 speeds called The Wind Machine. It certainly moves a lot of air, but it's way too noisy in the house. It sounds like a Cessna doing engine run ups LOL, so it doesn't get much use. I ended up buying another fan with three paddle blades that's super quiet with multiple functions and modes. That gets used throughout the summer, but the remote control has stopped working and it's not a battery issue.

HI Nick, great to hear from you. Loud fans in the house are not fun. Hope all is well with you!
I see you can get it with a short floor stand. Wonder how it would work just inside the door to exhaust or just outside the door to ventilate, PPV style.

I think it would do well that way and use my slightly larger fan that way now and then. Good stuff.
WOW
Needed more detail on the actual mounting procedure, did you use the bolt ant came with it or something else?

I did not use the hardware that came with the fan. I built a little mount so it would sit off of the wall the thickness of a 2x4 and then used a long bolt with a washer on front and back tightened up with a nut. It is loose enough that I can rotate the fan on the bolt depending on how I need the fan to blow.
