Don't think I will upload Javed Miandad related content from now on. Reason is Javed Miandad has his own channel. If his team can upload they can. I have a video ready of Australia Pakistan Adelaide Test from 1977 so plan to cut his bowling parts from it

A classic match, so many legends in one game. That was a golden era of cricket “no doubt” Interesting to see how “thin sticks/bats” were used then, but runs were never stopped even then. True class

I had heard the name of Tahir Naqash but watched him play for d first time. Great hitting ability he showed. He would have been successful in this t20 era, probably born a few decades earlier.

He deserved a much longer career, but Imran Khan preferred Manzoor Elahi, who turned out to be useless in the end, and had to be discarded. But it ruined Tahir Naqash's career anyway.

@@seenoevil85 when i got d notification of ur comment, coincidently i was watching Manzoor Elahi playing a fine innings to help Pakistan win at Perth requiring 274. @@rameezrather5385 Yes, that, and a 50 not out against India at Sharjah, in 1986, were his only significant performances in 54 ODIs. In contrast Tahir Naqash gave many useful performances like this one, in fact around 1983 world cup when injury had forced Imran Khan to play only as a batsman, Tahir Naqash was for a brief period considered to be the best limited overs cricket all rounder in team.

@@seenoevil85 so if Imran Khan is credited with building some great careers like Wasim, Waqar, Inzamam, Mushtaq ,Aqib etc he is also responsible for destroying d careers of promosing players like Tahir Naqash.

@@rameezrather5385 He destroyed about as many as he created. But one can't question the sincerity of his judgment, Pakistan is a cricket crazy nation full of raw talent, but only 11 men can make it to the national team's playing eleven. But a common criticism against him is the autocratic way he controlled Pakistan cricket. Once you were in his good books, your chances of having a decent career in the national team, improved exponentially. A commonly quoted example is that of new ball fast bowler Azeem Hafiz, who, many argue, was no less of a talent than Wasim Akram, but Wasim Akram was in the good books of Imran Khan, and the rest is history...

people remember Ramiz's slow innings late in his career but in the 1980s he was one of Pakistan's fastest one-day scorers. In 1990s he took a more obdurate role and didn't do very well with it, but he scored freely and fast against West Indies, New Zealand, etc in the 1980s which is no mean feat.

53:12 I think we don't put fence in front of crowd but we educate them like they did. In 80,s englishman were coming into the field after the 1 inning( Lunch break) or say in the inning break but now they don't do this because they educate their people,,,, this is how our grounds should be.....
