looked terrified 1st half, but kind of redeemed herself with a couple of really good saves 2nd half. Still, it's always good if a keeper can actually hang on to the ball .

I'm sorry, but the NZ goalkeeper was not of international standard, and the defence was terrible on that last goal. At this level they should be doing much better and communicating a lot better. Great fininshing from the Nigerian attackers though, so I am not blaming the goalkeeper for not stopping a couple of those goals. Without seeing the whole game, It's hard to judge, but it seems that the standard of play in NZ seems to have dropped significantly, and they looked to be well out of their depth.

god we kinda suck dont we. Keeper made up for mistake on first goal with some nice saves, couldn't do anything about the other 3. Took 60+ minutes to get an attacking highlight lOL. Hopefully we can keep Germany to single digits

At least the kiwis don't suck as much as we do( India). Our girls even lack the technical skills unfortunately. Our youth boys teams aren't too bad. But yeah, the kiwis were overwhelmed probably. It happens, they're so young.

@@alani3992 inexperience and lack of exposure: reasons why they were nervous. More friendly games with other countries will improve their game tremendously. ( I am a Nigerian, by the way)

Genetic advantage??? Common! Nothing of such. Just a better and well prepared team. Remember, USA, Germany and Sweden rules the world in women football ⚽️ for now. These team do beat any Africa team comfortably at senior level. If that was Sweden or Australia the outcome would have been different. As the tournament progress, Nigeria could find it tough going. As for now kudos to them. Genetics is not everything. Preparation, motivation and game strategies matters. A team game requires team effort. A solid striker, without support and good pass can't score. Managerial strategies and plans do outstrip good defense in order to get those required goals. Kudos to the manager, always remember that. 👏
