New Zealand LOCKDOWN 2021 What is it REALLY like?
New Zealand had been enjoying it's success against COVID-19 for several months now until the DELTA Variant of the Virus was detected in Auckland on the 17th of August.
Now New Zealand is in LOCKDOWN ALERT LEVEL 4
We want to tell you what it's really like here in lockdown in New Zealand.
We have been in two major lockdowns in New Zealand and we want to share our comparisons between Lockdowns in 2020 and now in lockdown in 2021.
Up until now New Zealand has enjoyed a relatively COVID-19 FREE society and enjoyed all the FREEDOM that comes with it.
Now the Delta variant of corona virus has been detected in the community and has forced our government to impose a strict Alert Level 4 lockdown.
We also share our experience of getting Vaccinated against Corona Virus and show you what it's like.

Thanks for sharing our story. I'm getting my 2nd shot on Monday. I'm really proud of us Kiwis for getting on with it and being kind to each other and our essential workers. @@mattnattravelthat739 hahaha we in quarantine at the moment in Germany for a few more days so have plenty to binge watch KZread. I’ll be checking out your videos too. We fly back to New Zealand next week and guess what more quarantine 😆 we went from spending so much time out in the sun to being in room. But the videos will be pumping out

Wow nice to see how other places have set up for vaccines, here in wanganui, they have about 10 private cubicles and 2 nurses per cubicle. I'm also in the fully vaccinated club. Looking forward to level 2 Take care you two

Thats really interesting. Our vaccine place was freaking cold!!! We were joking that we would be protected against COVID-19 but catch a cold being there! 😂

@@mattnattravelthat739 that's the last thing you need is to get sick! Our was nice and air conditioned (wish I had taken a video) for you to see just glad we all have our shots with these new Variants coming out.

Amen to that! Preach it! Yeah our first vaccine place was nice building with heating. But this Last place was as you can see a big open stadium. The nurses were in bloody puffer jackets and woolen beanies! Felt sorry for them. 12 hour shifts they said!

This was really interesting. It’s herd mentality for the U.K. now! Most things are normal ish, but the delta is really spreading through the kids back at school. I don’t think our country will go for another lockdown, even if it’s needed. We are well vaccinated though. Thanks for sharing x

That's very interesting also! Yes We see the UK vaccine number are very good compared to here. It's probably our one criticism of the government here. Don't know why they left it so late
Cheers for the video capturing what the L4 lockdown has been like. I think the country is well on the way to being Covid free again. I can't see us opening up travel with Australia again any time soon. Cook Islands might be back open
