Hello! Thanks so much for watching! Rest assured that there are ample spaces for you to stow your belongings. This campervan is good for 3 pax actually. Both of us each had a cargo bag for this trip. 😊

Great, that’s a relief! Was looking into booking the exact one after watching your whole series, but had second thoughts when everywhere I read discourage bringing of luggages 😂 Also, a class 3/ 3a license would suffice yeah?

Hi @@xyh8648 , We have 3 large luggages with us for this trip, We keep one at he back of the campervan for us to keep the wines ( Total 16 bottles :p ), then we keep the other 2 luggages in the washroom. It is okay to keep under the bed but it will move when you break or go down hill. And I'm holding Singapore Class 3 driving license to drive the campervan, usually the campervan company will ask your driving license to make sure you can drive which campervan :) Hope all the info will help and do ask us more if you have any questions, we will reply when we are free (^_^) Jim.

Are the insurance package for the campervan a necessary? Did you guys bought it or just pay a deductible security deposit?

Hello Paul, we recommend that you pick up an insurance package which comes with the campervan rental. We think it is inexpensive considering the peace of mind that you are exchanging your cash for. (For info, we had a minor accident during our first trip and the window panel at the back was smashed. So with the insurance package and an incident report submitted, our vehicle return process was so much smoother than that of others who had to spend more time over the counter doing the necessary negotiations. This helps a lot especially when you have a plane to catch. 😉) And I think cost wise, we paid the price in full for the rental package. We can't really recall on the security deposit part. But fret not, the process is easier than what most people think and the customer service staff are really knowledgeable. So with Britz, we assure you that you're in good hands. ☺️☺️☺️ Have fun planning your trips. And happy travels! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

What kind of license is required to drive this kind of campervan? Heard a normal car license would suffice

For the cost, additional charge and all these misc items adding water, discharging waste etc... look troublesome,. may as well go for a motel or B&B to have a trouble-free holiday + these mobile van travel slow + hard to find parking in cities area

It's a different experience :) Troublesome but fun. There are people sleep in car and bring portable cooking stove for easier and cheaper road trip. Parking is not a problem on South island.

是可以租借輪胎防滑鐵鏈，但是我們建議你先前詢問滑雪場會比較好。

Hi hi, I'm holding the class 3 licence, not sure about class 3A but you may check with the campervan company, usually reply super fast. I'll go back for another road trip next month from Christchurch to Auckland, you may come back and watch the videos with the latest tips (^_^)

Hi Benny! We definitely had a wonderful experience with them. Everything is taken care of and all we need to do is to enjoy the ride. The staff are also very professional and helpful. Always on standby to answer your questions if needed. :)
