I agree! I sold the Edp it was just a little to playful for me I prefer the Le parfum version. The edt and le parfum are the only Y’s you need imo

For me, definitely Y le parfum is a must for me. It has embodied all the Ys in one bottle.

I just walked into the store and smelled the EDT version which is all they had and me and my wife instantly fell in love. I still want to test out the EDP, pardum and y live now after watching this. Have you compared the new EDT vs the original?

The EDP and the Live smell the most similar to me, they are both loud and sweet. Live has less apple and a bit darker. Those are my favs and they last long. Le parfum is good and more for night time. Eau Fraiche is good for summer high heat days.

I got ysl Y le parfum, edt, edp, & edp intense. Edp is loud and projects so have to be judicial with the sprays. The Le Parfum is phenomenal and so is the edp intense. The edt I use for the gym or just running errands.

Hello. I just bought the EDP Intense and the Y Elixir. Really like both. But the Elixir smells so good. It's my first understanding of what Oud is. Lol, the dry down smell is great, and it lasts a long time.

Ysl y edp intense is a good one some people say if you have edp and le parfum you dont need it, NOPE, edp intense is different and a head turner for sure but ill wait for it to hit discounters.

Y Live is one of my most complimented scents! The EDP is too loud, the EDT is sweet on me. The Le Parfum is the best smelling to me. The Intense is too woody on my skid. 👊🏼

Interesting description with some reasonable arguments in favour of one over the other fragrance reviewed. To my nose Le Parfume has that sweetness that Intense does not have. On the other hand, Intense has some cleanness that Le Parfum lacks. I would not want to be forced to decide !

The toilette has a terrible dry down The eau de Parfum is legendary & popular- It's just too damn loud I love the fraiche for summer 🍋🍇 it smells like grape lemonade The Y Le Parfum is the best though! It's perfectly balanced!

YSL Y EDP and Y Live Intense has gotten the most compliments out of all of the fragrances I have, the women lllllllllove it. YSL Y EDP Intense also reminds me of ADG Profondo lights and RL deep blue gold blend. Its ok and is nothing compared to y edp y le parfum or y live intense because its blue

Idk might be a bit boring to everyone but man oh man the ysl y edp does it everytime. It last for days, compliment magnet and panty dropper forsurely. The le parfum is okay as well it’s not bad juss a little too boozy for me but I can totally see why ppl like it. I had the edt a long time ago it was Alr but I feel like since I have the edp it would be redundant to get the edt. Now with the new one that came out idk I don’t see myself getting it, the edp works so well for me… u know the ole saying “if it isn’t broke don’t fix it” type deal

I have not picked up one yet,but I’m thinking about it

I have Y le parfum, i enjoy it didn’t want to be in the edp hype.

EDT stands out in a crowd women always say who is that smelling so good!

EDP intense for me. Clean fresh modern blue frag kind of type.

for me live is the best the dry down is amazing

Sacre Bleu! Y EDP doesn’t even make your top 3. But I appreciate you going against the grain. My fav remains the original EDT.

The new Y EDT has no aldehydes and no Tonka Bean. It has vanilla now, but it's not a substantial note in the fragrance.

I like the Edp better than the Le parfum.

I don't have them all got edp,edp intense,le parfum.. edp is the best for casual wear,patfum date night,intense would b summertime day wear

tested intense today. At first I loved it, walked around the mall came back tested it again. Then boom it hit me, the best smelling old school toilet bowl cleaner ever. Now I cant get the smell out of my head, straight sweet toilet cleaner. My girl said le parfum was the best but all I smelled was chalky juicy fruit chewing gum. Edp is the one for me but ,fades too quick to skin scent. Fraiche too bitter like unripe lemon still a little green, need to try Live. Current new Edt is Fraiche copy ramped up and sweetened, older was def better.

what you described about the toilet bowl smell is how I feel about the edp, its just not hitting for me

I went into Macys to pick up blue Chanel, the parfum version and the lady let me sample le parfum and I couldn’t pass it up

The eau de parfum was never a hit for me, it was always hyped and I'm not one to follow the trend. The eau de toilette was the champ until I got a whiff of le parfum. I loved it so much, I chose it to be my wedding day scent a few weeks ago! Live and fraiche will get scooped when prices are low.

@Dan Jenkins hmmm honestly I am not sure. Since I didn't purchase it, I haven't got any usage out of it compared to the two that I own and used numerous times. It smells really nice, no doubt about that. Just redundant to me. Best I could say if you don't own any, give them all a smell back to back.

You don't have the new version of the EDT bruh. The new formula doesn't have aldehydes. It's pretty similar to the EDP though.

Which one would yall say leans towards the more masculine side? I usually wear AQUA profumo and things like that to work. YSL la nuitt is still my favorite cologne so i think i might try one of these.

Intense is the more mature and nuanced version of all of them IMO.

EDP is the best . How EDT can be considered is beyond me 🤯

I’m new to Ysl and I’m not impressed with any of them. I didn’t know that YSL has made this many. As person new to YSL, which one do you think is a good start for someone new to YSL. I was thinking about Le Parfum but at 220 I wasn’t sure if that’s the right one to jump into for my first one

I have intense and it’s the best of them all to me but I think the le parfum is worth having. 1. Intense ( 8 hours) 2. Le parfum ( 6-8 hours) 3. La nuit (3-4 hours)

Does the intense version have more longevity? I can't get any of these version to last more than 4hrs.

Not in America! I found this little bit of information out when I visited the UK, It makes a BIG difference for those from the UK, apparently it’s super offensive as it’s the same as showing the middle finger gesture in America. 🤷🏼‍♂️ he means No harm therefore there is No foul ✅. He probly doesn’t even know what you are talking about by turning the peace sign around (Dude) Now everyone knows and it still will not make a difference. . It’s just not a thing in America.

I have to disagree, Y LIVE is too sweet for high heat. Y EDT & EAU FRAICHE are similar. If you're getting just 1 in the line, the Le Parfum is the best.

Yes I’m glad they took the apple away it was always too sweet of a fragrance for me. I have the edp & the leparfum and I almost always gravitate towards the le parfum because it’s not as sweet smelling
