Do you have a favorite shade from the new YSL Slim Glow Matte line? I had a look on the USA Sephora site and there IS a beige nude and a really deep dark burgundy-brown tone it seems. I DO wish we had that super-deep raisin brown shade here. That looks soooo bomb.

Karen Asawa That’s a perfect description! Pretty but not showy haha. I think you’ll like these. The texture feels very similar to the Sheer Mattes, and I think one main difference is these can be built up easier compared to the Sheers. The other is that this line has more earthy colors, less of those candy-colored bright orange and pinks, which - if you are looking for more colors that are elegant, not loud - is great!

205 for me 💕 appreciate the sheer as well as the opaque application

I'm adding 215 Undisclosed Camel to my Sephora cart.It's my kind of color and I like that it didn't come off on the tissue. Sephora is having their Friends and family sale right now. And 20% VIB sale at the end of the month. I'm picking up a few things.

Your swatches at first were creepy lol you're the first I saw have two of you swatching. I'm glad you did this as a stain vs opaque so we can see both! I just bought two. I am thinking of getting one or two from the sheer matte shades. I bought also a lipstick 83. So I'll wait to buy from the sheer matte.

LOL!! Yeah I'm sure it can be a bit unsettling sometimes to see 2 haha. Yeah it's a good idea to hold off and see what color you really want, since the Glow and regular Mattes also sheer down quite easily as well!

207 is my fav, semi sheer is my fav type of lipstick

I'm staying off the entire range.. and mainly bcos we have to keep our masks on now so I'm only keeping an eye out for lip stains / tints are more transfer proof!😅

I know what you mean! I'm a lipstick addict so I stick with some of the roomier masks that don't collapse on my mouth, JUST so I can keep wearing my bright reds LOL!!! >D But yeah, eye makeup is kinda the default right now since most times nobody sees our lips.

Hi Helena, I'm afraid I didn't record the look haha! It was done using the Urban Decay Stoned Vibes palette (Antidote in socket, Opal Aura on the lid, and Ojo as a partial liner/wing). Hope this helps!

It's off topic but have you tried the Givenchy Deep Velvet Matte? They have some new shades that I love but unsure about the formula..

Oh that one I was looking at but have not bought it to try yet! I might try to pick one up when I consolidate my next shopping order! I was eyeing it the other day but I'm lemming Lisa Eldridge's new True Velvet lipstick shades so I was holding off on buying the Givenchy hahahaha. Will update if I manage to try it anytime soon!

Hey babe, where are you located? If you’re in Singapore it’s available at Tangs here. The local teams often pick which colors to release for their market/country, so the shade range available will differ sometimes!

@@chironinis Ahhh, yeah it's annoying when the same shade range is not available everywhere! I expect the US would have all shades usually, so I'm surprised! The closest color to it is 214 if you have it there! It's not really noticeably different if you wear it sheer, and it's only a tiny bit more red if you wear it opaque.

Is it me or are most of these colors red? lol Equivocal Brown, Secret Rosewood and Transgressive Cacoa all look red to me . YSL does lip stick well , they all look pretty on you ! Love your eye look too. Are you going to do a video on Urban Decay's Stoned Vibes palette?

And yes - there are a little too many brick and red-oranges for me hahahaha. I wish they'd have a bit more variation to be honest, but that's only because I'd only pick one brick, one orange... and I don't need 4-5 similar shades to choose between LOL.

LOL thanks for the feedback. I usually choose different music for all my vids and like exploring different tempos and styles, and I do use jazz or blues in other vids but get too bored if I have to stick to only one type. Sorry you disliked this one!
