Manhattan's Fifth Avenue turned green as crowds decked out in emerald turned out to cheer marchers on at the annual New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade on Friday (March 17).
Marching bands, performers and politicians all walked to celebrate Irish heritage, along with members of the New York City Fire Department and Police Department.
