New York Session Scalping Strategy: Trading Nasdaq with High Winrate
In this trading video I show a scalping strategy for trading Nasdaq or S&P in New York session on the 5m timeframe. For defining the bias and lows and highs of the day I use a method from @themas7er that he showed in this video:
• 🔥 TOP SECRET TRADING S...
He also published a tradingview indicator for this, that you can find here: www.tradingview.com/script/up... I also added a few lines of code for it.
The strategy makes use of the probability that when a high or low is broken after the 9:30 - 10:30 range, the opposite side is not going to be broken by an 88% chance. Then I use price acton and levels of support and resistance to enter the trade.
For trading with low spreads I can recommend the broker Hankotrade, register here, it's very simple:

Here you can find my TradingView indicators on this page:

Thank you very much! Does the price has to sweep the High/ Low of DR or does it has to close in the 5 min TF?
Ive been trading a similar strategy on the intial break. Good results but the drawdown can be stressful. I am going to implement this pullback method. Thanks for sharing!
another great one!!

Thank you friend!
We conside a high or low broken with the body high and low or with the weak high and low?
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and loosing all the good opportunities

If you haven’t proven to yourself that you can win then please do NOT go all in with your savings. Prove you have a trading system that works and then gradually increase your exposure. Do not go all-in when all you do is lose…

It's not difficult to make monthly profits of up to 6 digits as I've made up to $75k per month since last year. Even though I have been investing for a while, it is very important for me to get help from a tutor to identify and take advantage of this market opportunity

I’ve been down a ton, I’m only holding on so I can recoup, I really need help
I haven’t really backtested this much but I am finding it useful to frame a trade if I use both IDR boxes. And using ICT entry models.
do you use CBDR? can we incorporate it here?
Thanks 🙏🙏
Hey, will this work for crypto? If so, what sessions? Will appreciate an answer. Thank you!

Greetings sir I watched the video and liked it very much, as well as the next part about some advanced ideas to improve the results But I still have a problem, which is determining the correct time. I live far from the United States with a time difference of seven hours. This means that nine-thirty in your country is four-thirty in my country, and I calculate on this basis, but I have a question to confirm the time, and my question is: Is nine-thirty the opening time of the New York session or It's half an hour after it starts, according to my information?? I hope you care to answer my question Please accept my sincere regards

Hello @_ForexPRO use the windows clock by writing "clock" in the search box of windows 11. Add New York as a timezone and then there is a converter tool
Is the high/ low the red line or the black line
@TheTradingGuide
Жыл бұрын
The high/low is the black line (DR) and the red line is the highest or lowest closing prices (IDR)
the only problem is that these pairs are vary volatile so assuming you are going to get en entry after 10:30 may not happen and if you do are entering when 60-75% is already done. Also there is alot of news days so not entering could mean you missing move that are 100 pts are over. It works but just know yu may miss over 80% of moves and may not get an entry

Who expects a trade set up right after 1030? No one. with enough time on charts knows they. have to wait for the entry setups, confirmations to happen. The 10:30. time is just the end of the windows you're using to find. the IDR and. DR. but you still have to wait for price to move to the FVG, FIB level etc etc or whatever else you use to confirm you can execute the trade. For example todays setup didnt happen until a few minutes before 11:30...thats when you. set alerts so you can jump back on the chart when you get the alert on your phone.

@@fvm9576 Well said
A lot of times both high and low of the DR/IDR are being swept. Idk who came up saying that theres 88% chance if price close above wont come to the low till end of the day /and opposite/ but its absolute bs. Just go back and have a look at it. Its actually bigger chance there will be sweep on both sides lol... Sorry to burst your bubble

I've backtested this, and your claim that there's an 80%+ chance that if one of the s/r is broken, the opposite s/r will hold is completely bogus. At least on SPX. I developed a different strategy based on these levels, so thank you for posting this video. I'm not hating on you at all, maybe I missed something and backtested your strategy incorrectly.
