New York's new Bean sculpture turning heads
New York City recently unveiled a new sculpture in Tribeca that many say reminds them of a smaller version of Chicago’s iconic “Could Gate” also known to most at “The Bean.” CBS2's John Dias reports.

I think Chicago should build a statue of liberty right in the middle of Lake Michigan.

As a New Yorker I think New York’s version is a rip off of Chicago. It needs to be removed ASAP! 😠

But they can't repair the spinning cube at Astor place. SHAME
Your report spoke so much about the artwork but you guys couldn’t even name the artist, Anish Kapoor who should be credited. That’s so disrespectful.

You are disrespectful by acting as the superior intelligent Jewish savior for the uneducated and inept minorities you find to be a inferior race. Let artists and other people who speak for themselves. No need to create negativity.

@@natevirtualit's a nod to the sculpture in chicago, home of the mafia who controls the drug industry who controls the usa. and also, the fact a single entity amassed so much wealth that they can create a permanently useless artifact. it's shaped like a droplet of melted metal, such as when the US DoD conducted 9/11 attacks using thermite to melt the towers down into puddles of lava.
