2:38 I just found out about Ben's passing on Jaycation's livestream in LV. He mentioned Norma's time in NYC with Ben and John. Even though Ben is gone and will be missed, this moment in the video will always live on in his memory … and in our memories as well. 🙏

Great video. I actually think it’s fairly easy to find cheap eats in NYC. One thing I love about NYC is it has restaurants at all price points. In a lot of cities if you want cheap eats you are limited to chains like McDonald’s, Wendy’s and Popeyes.

I totally agree NYC has a ton of cheap food. The rent is the most expensive part of living their.

Best spot for cheap eats in NYC is Flushing (Main Street)! Lived there for a couple years and I ate out nearly every day since a majority of the food spots in Flushing are great quality, authentic, healthy, and cheap. I still visit every now and then just to eat even though I live in Long Island now. Highly recommend Flushing if you're a fan of East Asian food!

I'm a new subscriber, and it's your food videos that made me one. Been living upstate NY for over 10years now, and I miss all the great food from there. I found the best in food trucks & Chinatown.

You had me at the taco shells at Viva Birria. The shells alone look amazing.

I love that you guys mentions that a cheap eat doesn't have to be under $5. When my friend and I went to Vegas, we got stuff for 10-20 dollars and just shared it like you said.

Very great video! I'd like to add too that finding "cheap" food should NEVER be like not tipping or being rude to the staff etc etc... quality food like this (not expensive) is awesome for life experience so support the places you find & skip the big chain names

We took a drive down to the Upper East Side last weekend for a day trip. No cheap eats to be had on short notice! Haha. These cookies look very good. I love their branding/aesthetic.

Chinatown has always had the best value restaurants in the City. Generous portions, healthy for you, fair prices. 67 years living in the city-(full or part time), no better place to go. Norma, enjoy your time in the city.

​@@HereBeBarr If my memory is accurate it started as a food truck during that food truck boom about a decade ago (before all the good ones became brick and mortar restaurants). Really good cookies for sure.
